Yeah I usually put in for the multi-unit hunt around Prescott but wanted to try something different. I had plans to do lots of scouting that never came to fruition. However the last pig I killed was in 21 a decade ago so what the heck.

Nice work. Your the only person ive ever heard of to actually hunt and kill snipe. (Excluding those who have fallen for the mythical practical joke specie).

No problem. Good luck and send a pic when you get one. Also Prescott Valley has a city ordinance regarding archery use within a 1/4 mile of an occupied structure. Not sure if Prescott has that or not.

Check the regs there are specific rules around some subdivisions.

I ended up running into a 3x3 mulie. Followed him for a bit but he was in rut mode and was on a mission. The wind kicked my butt. 8 deer total, no pigs.

Yeah the wind is frigid. Seen some does and tons of hunters. Not much else yet.

Im going to take a ride out to 21 now. Check out the road conditions, do some pig scouting and hopefully find a buck for the freezer.

Good info AKA. I shot one of mine repeatedly into foam, letting the blades open, with no ill effects. Was getting great flight out to 60. I killed a spike bull last November. Shot was right at 50 yds. It went right thru him including his slicing through his opposite side shoulder blade. And into the dirt. I actually thought I'd missed since it whacked the dirt so hard. Hes was dead before I could cock a second arrow. Except for a tiny little Nick on the fixed blade it shows no sign of damage. Not doubting your experience at all. I had troubles with rage heads and was a slick trick only guy till I tried the Gravediggers.

Surprised that you found the Gravediggers to be weak. Ive had the exact opposite experience. Where did they break on you?

That puts my entire hunting life to shame.
