I think it is a bad idea, AZ has done good with managing there elk herds in the past. This is why it is such a go to place. they have great hunts and tremendous bulls. Why mess it all up. I do not know how many people they will have on these hunts, but has there been any study's on what it can do to the elk herds if there is that kind of pleasure before the rut and during the rut???? It just seems to me they are gambling with there elk herds a bit, and with everyone's years of points and $$$ they have been putting in for year after year. I emailed my

What a great topic. I grew up in a family that loved to hunt and fish. Hiking Canoeing trips. It all started with my dad. Him and I shared some special special times in the woods. Though he is past on now He still lives in me. Miss him alot. First Turkey hunt with my boys and my dad Youngest sons first Turkey. Funny note at the time he did not have hunting pants so he wore dads old hunting pants. Needless to say he was swimming in them. Youngest sons first bear with Mom in a Alaska My oldest sons archery elk fishing trip down south. My wifes bear she killed in Alaska you got get the duck hunting in as well my oldest son This is the bear I killed in Alaska Sorry to go on. family is very special to me. We have had alot of great times together, and great memories. We are so blessed to live where we do and can do what we do. My kids now are grown up and now are having kids themselves. Its great to see things beginning to unfold again in another generation. I guess that really dates me.

Antlers in concrete

There are some real a holes out there. To lazy to get out and do the work them self's. Coming back from Idaho one year we stopped in at Dennys to have a late night dinner and caught a guy climbing into the back of my pickup trying to steal the antlers from my sons bull he had just shot. We did a citizens arrest that night and he ended up in visiting the police station that night.

Thanks for the kind words. Archery elk hunting is very special time of year for us. Hopefully today we will here our results on our tags. We too have been hit with the credit card hit, and we are patiently waiting. It is either my wife or me. I kinda hope it is my wife for she can get back on the saddle and get her first elk. She has her bow out already and ready to start shooting.
