I will be cooking a elk roast tonight and thought it would be fun to try something totally Different? So Iam turning to cwt on what you have found to be the best way to cook a elk roast. So any Help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like some good hunts up coming this year. I have always wanted to WT up there. They have some huge bucks. Bear hunting is always fun weather it be for blacks or griz. I wish you best of luck and cant wait to hear and see the pics.

I always loved turkey hunting This is how I got my kids into hunting. We had a blast doing it as well. Turkeys are very vocal and the kids love it it keeps there attention on where it should be. Deer and elk hunting for the most part are not as vocal. I always took the kids up and scouted the turkeys. We patterned them. On the night before the season we would march our but up where they had been roosting on our scouting trips, And we would put them down for the night. That way we new exactly what tree they were in for the night. Opening morning We were right there. Few calls and we had our bird. To funny my youngest sons first bird. I could not afford to buy him hunting clothes so he used my old hunting clothes with suspenders. It was like he was swimming in them. Good memories.

Hey big B what kind of hunts do you have planned up north? Sounds like moose and bear?

I checked my card yesterday and no new hits. This morning I had a hit from 2 nights ago going out to dinner with the the wife.

I am still holding out hope for Monday. Hopefully I have a really slow posting card. Ok I am praying it is a slow posting. LOL

No I do not walk on water, nor am I saying I have never done anything wrong. I am far from being perfect. I also believe in forgiveness. I just think that there is alot people that forget about proper Hunting ethics. I also think there are alot of people that would benefit from taking the hunter ed class. Like my father taught me growing up {Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.} [Matthew 7:12]

Wow Really this is what we all want to hear. I think this is a piss poor attitude and nothing any ethical hunter wants to hear or see. Is this really what you would want done to you? or teach our kids? Totally disagree and call B/S on this type of attitude and ethics. I have seen lots of cameras in the field and never have touched a single one. and never even have had a thought to touch one. I also think we all need to think about our actions in the field and what we are teaching our kids and our 10 year old nephews. I would even go as far to recommend taking the firearm safety coarse. I think alot of us think we know everything about hunting and fishing. There is far more to know then just how the animals move and killing a trophy at all cost. It is called ethics, and how we handle our selves in the field.

I love all these game and fish brown nosers. Just because they put a deadline for end of April doesn't make it ok for them to take that long. We've said it before that other states can get their draw done close to a month after app deadline. Az takes at least 2 month if not 2 and a half. If they said the deadline was end of June for results should we just sit back and deal with it and wait and say they are on schedule? It's 2016 people. Technology has advanced more than ever and azgfd is only going backwards. If it truly took 2 and a half months to get the draw done without problems then that's fine. But when they are taking that long because they are incompetent and have been screwing up the draw for years that's not ok. They make tens of millions of dollars off these draws. If a private company had as many incompetent idiots working for them and wasting money like azgfd they would have went bankrupt long ago and a better company would have moved it. Unfortunately were stuck with this department and have to deal with it but it's still not ok.it's so funny you talk so much shoot yet it's 2016 and you have your own business as a guide and you still feel the need to get caught cutting cameras off of trees of fellow guides. Do we need to post the video and pics Blake? You guys want 60 pages? Have him explain how such a model citizen got caught with his 10 year old nephew cutting cameras off of trees and driving off-road to do it WHAT someone here on the forum is cutting cameras off trees??????? WTF

My card was set to expire March 31st as well. I noticed this before putting in for the draw. So I called the CC company and explained what the situation was. It was awesome they put a rush on my new card, sent it out one day mail NO Charge . And was able to use my new card like 2 days before the draw deadline date. heads up to all, for upcoming years

Little off topic but Just watched that 20/20 special on the American Sniper. When Chris Kyle and his buddy were gunned down at the gun range By another American veteran. Chris survives his tour over seas as a sniper. To come home and try and help other veterans deal with life after. When helping another veteran Chris and his buddy get gunned down at the gun range. WOW This guy that killed him, is a real piece of chit. Life is short live it to its fullest. Also want to put a huge THANK YOU to all the vetrans out there.

Well just got back from work long day. I finally had a much needed productive day. That means I can be unproductive tomorrow And hopefully get some much needed draw results

Congrats on an awesome bull there Rombo He has some great tine length. If you don't mind me asking, What did it score. Not that it maters he is a stud bull But its always fun to look at a bull and try and score them. Helps when out in the field.
