I just bought my wife an 03 tahoe, and I need to find a set of third row seats from a 200-2006 tahoe or yukon, hopefully grey cloth, but would probably take whatever I can find. If anyone has a set or knows a place I can find these seats I would appreciate it. thanks, darren

Alpine/Greer area cabins???

Scotty, we rent a cabin over in greer every summer, in fact, I am counting the days until july 26 when we are going for 10 days. Here is a link to Greer Cabin Keepers, they maintain and rent out most all the cabins in Greer. We are staying in Sleigh Cabin for the 4th year this year. http://www.greercabinkeepers.com/ There are a ton of cabins, but like Bill said, on short notice you may be out of luck. The Red Setter is the most beautiful place, it has won best bed-n-breakfast in the state several times. Greer Lodge is also very nice, with their own fly fishing trout ponds, it is spectacular. If you are in the camping mood, you should check into Winn Campground which is up on the mountain above Greer on the road to Big Lake, and it is real close to Lee Valley Reservoir which has to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the state. Even has arctic greyling. hope that helps, Darren -

W's immigration policy

I have to disagree with the overall tone of this discussion. I dont think it is right to drop this problem in the lap of W, as this problem has been around a long time, but I will agree that this proposed legislation is not the answer. I think we should all be careful talking about "them" and "they", as if immigrants are from some foreign planet. I agree with you littlebear, we are all descendants of immigrants, I know that some of my family came through ellis island a long time ago, not sure whether or not that would make them illegal or not..... We need to remember that in our own Declaration of Independance, Jefferson wrote "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness..." I believe God gives us all unalienable rights, and I cant accept that for myself and deny it for someone else...it's either true or not. Anyway, I totally agree that we have a security problem in our country, and we need to address the issue. I also know I dont know the answer. I just hope that as a nation we dont lose sight of our history, or the fact we are all created by God, and will have to own up to our actions some day. Hope I didnt offend anyone. Darren -

I dont know if we have the asian version here yet, but I know we have some huge carp in the verde river that do almost the same thing. A few years ago I canoed about 8 miles of the river with a AZGFD friend doing a survey of the fish. We had a generator in the canoe, and a large aluminum ball hanging from the bow that sent an electric pulse into the water to stun the fish so we could scoop them up to measure them. It was a great day to say the least, as well as very educational. The carp were the only fish to slam into the boat at full speed. When they would get shocked, they would swim toward the shock until they ran into the side of the canoe. It was pretty funny having up to 10lb carp slamming into the side of our little canoe. twoguns -

I use the vertical HHA T-250 Triple Threat and love it. You can customize the sight pins just the way you want them, and then they cannot be moved/knocked loose. Plus, you cant beat it for the price. I have never had any trouble seeing my target with the vertical setup.

Doug, I can relate to your memories of Greer. My Grandpa took my dad and his brothers to Greer every year from sometime in the 50's. He was a pastor in Flag from around 58 to 74 if my memory is working right. They would stay out in the woods somewhere, or at Hoyer or Winn campground. Every year, except for a few years maybe, my dad has continued the tradition and taken the family to Greer. This year we are going the last week of July, and I can't wait. It always seems that time stands still in Greer, not much changes from year to year. I hope that I am able to continue to take my kids there into the future. Darren

105coues, my cousin that works for AZGFD spends a lot of time trapping elk and deer for the department and he said they use sweetfeed. It is some sort of livestock feed that has mollasses in it. My dad and I have used it a few times with our trail cameras and it has worked real well, they love it. Jeff, my cousin, actually caught a coues buck in his trap last year, and had the antlers fall off right in the cage, a real nice set too.

my brother shot many deer through the years with his 22-250 with terrific success. He is a good shot though.

My folks lived in young for 10 years and we spent tons of time out in the woods around there. we both killed elk right around young and i know some great places to go. since i am sure i will most likely never hunt there again i dont mind sharing what i know. if you are interested at all, send me a message about where you would like to hunt and I will tell you what i know. darren
