Ok, makes sense. I guess I'm just making it harder than it needs to be. Thanks guys!

I wondered if it might be a bobcat, and that makes more sense to me really. I could see a coyote track being elongated in mud but this track was really wide. I put a cam up on a trail leading to the water. Hopefully it'll give some clues to what may have made this track. It's just so close to my house its hard not to go check it! I just put it out yesterday and I already want to go see what's on it!

Isn't the 3-5 drawing a separate drawing though? Where you get a new random number generated? Or does it not matter, because in order for tags to be left for the third choice all second choice applicants would have to receive a tag?
-
Man.... I was really hoping it was a chupacabra! I figured it was probably a yote, it just seemed really wide

It was in the foothills of the tortalitas in Marana. Got drawn for 37a so I went out looking around this morning

Credit Cards Are Getting Hit. Post Up Your Results
ylclaret replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
I drew a 37a tag. Any antlered deer. Both hunts were in Nov so not sure if its the early November or late November hunt but it doesn't really matter to me! -
Charge just came through on my card!
-
You won't be able to find out what you drew until the draw is completed. I'm guessing the guys that are posting what they drew only put in for a couple hunts so they can narrow it down. For example I only put in for two hunts, both in the same unit and both in November, so if my card gets hit I will know I drew 37a either early or late Nov. hope that helps, for now you'll just have to be stoked you got a tag, and soon you'll be able to find out what that tag is!

So is today the day? I'm sure I won't be the only one checking my account all day long. Good luck everybody!

I went to pull my camera so I can take it up north to prepare for my elk hunt and of course it had some of the best pictures to date. I included a couple of older ones that I found on the card while going through the new ones. Hope you guys enjoy!

Android App Identifying Gun Owners
ylclaret replied to creed's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
That is exactly what I was thinking! Great app to let criminals know what houses NOT to go to... -
This buck was laying in the road in Colorado today when my buddy disturbed him by driving up, picture is from my buddy's cell phone.

any antler growth is exciting! This is actually the first coues buck I've been able to get any pictures of, so it's especially exciting for me. Any guesses what this guy might grow to this year?
-
He might not compare to most of the others in this thread but this is the pretty much the first exciting picture I've collected from my cam so I figured I'd share it.

Man you guys are killing me!!! I had myself in a good mind set, had almost forgot I had even put in(which was my goal) but every day I get on here and you guys get me all riled up to check my card and see if maybe, just maybe it got hit. Haha! Oh well, the anticipation is just part of the fun I guess!

I'm thinking about making some upgrades to my bow before archery deer opens ( plus I have an archery elk hunt ) so I was wondering what you all thought is the best bow sight on the market?

Have you seen any bucks in the area with this type of coloring?

Newbie for coues needing a little help

Keep in mind too that if you don't draw out, there almost always left over tags for whitetail. -

Have you considered an archery hunt in December or January? That would give you a lot more freedom in where you could hunt, it's over the counter so no stress on drawing a tag and you can shoot either species -

Are you planning on staying for at least two weeks? Because most of the hunts are about a week long and only one species is legal at any given time (for the most part) so the hunts alternate every week. -
Those were the two options I came up with too. Haha! It just doesn't look like there is any angle on that arrow but I guess pictures can be a little funny and if it was a quartering shot its possible it hit the opposite side ahoulder
-
I want to know what the heck stopped that arrow... Doesn't seem like there should be anything hard enough to stop it unless it was a pretty slow shooting bow...

I know there a couple of you guys on here that have this stuff down to an art. I was wondering if you could tell me what the odds are of drawing a 37a rifle tag? I only have two points and I prefer to hunt archery anyway but I'm just curious. Thanks.
