I've heard good things about the 168 vld on rl22. Personally I haven't developed it to perfection yet but I shoot the 168 vld on imr 4350. I can't remember the charge amount. I keep it under a moa with that load to 350 yards. Might take a look at h-1000 on the 168 or 180 vld.

I use Witt machine muzzle brakes. They work well and are nice on the wallet.

+3 on the Warne, I have the permanent ones on my 7 mag works great, my brother has the quick off ones with good results. Also on a 7 mag.

My brother has a ruger American in 308. It's a good gun. Shoots factory ammo at around 3/4 Mia and reloads at 1/2. I wouldn't hesitate to get one.
