Hunting has changed with the side by sides and quads you road hunters have a hard time now that they have figured you out.I have hunted elk since 1977 I can still find big elk,deer and antelope it just takes some boot leather I agree they have way to many tags for everything but look at 5bn antelope I spent 3-4 days scouting and found 3 goats bigger then 84 inches how many pics did you see that were bigger then 82 inches with all the guides and outfitters looking, it's getting harder it's now a hunt. it's not as easy as it once was,get out of your toys and get back to the basics unit 10 has way to many tags but still has some giants. with all the money people will pay the outfitters are killing all the big animals, go hunt the strip for deer and outfitter might have one hunter in camp but might have 9 trucks in camp spot lighting, glassing or driving around looking all talking on radio's how does anything have a chance how can they make any money when they ask $10,000 dollars and have 10 helpers in camp. The weekend warrior is a thing of the past put you time in or quit bitching.Look at HPO outfitters they took a raffle tag hunter out for free 5 or 6 guides on a bull us locals have tried to kill for years, he was way past his prime and in my mind didn't deserve to die with a posse after him so, is Game and fish at fault solely or are we all to blame as well?,

I have spent 26 days out since the middle of August I use the 60 and 110 igloo I freeze a couple cases of water bottles and some of the 2 liter bottles of water they are still half frozen after 8 or 9 days and meat is still frozen after 4-5 days I put them in the shade and put a tarp and sleeping bag on top I would guess I have used the 110 for the last 10 years don't know why it would wear our after 2 years if you take care of it, I am really hard on my camping equipment but i would guess my big ice chest has seen at least 500 days of use.I have tried to talk myself into a high dollar chest but I don't think they are worth the cost.Hinges will break but a piece of garden hose will fix this. You guys with the Canyon and Yeti how long does your meat stay frozen?

If you sweat that bad and are in shape, you might want to go get a physical, you might have high blood pressure.but like others have said don't wear it up the steep mountains, take it off wear a ball cap and put it on when you get to your glassing spot.

I have hunted 34a since 1977, I have never been on a hunt since the first hunt without a chance of killing a buck it has to be one of the easiest units to kill, just hunt where oneshot told you and you should do fine.

This bull is awesome and has always had a giant spread, but was 15 years old and really going down hill I think you guys guessing 380 are way off. I don't think he his within 25 to 30 inches of 380.

360 bull with 22 cows I have watched him for 4 weeks calling most every night and called him in to 10 yards last night with aggressive bugles for those who don't think they come to bugles anymore it does still work 11m was awesome this year for the rut.

I do the same but I usually find $2000-$3000 dollars of sheds each year sometimes even $4,000 worth on a great year I use this for my savings,I have also bought a 4x4 Honda Rincon 10 x 42 swavorkis, 15 x 56's and a 20-80 spotting scope using this method. oh yeah I also got my princess daughter out of jail for only $2500 dollars from my sheds Can't really beat this method.No out of pocket money other then some gas and boot leather.I think after expensive I am still up $20,000 I put my son,my grandson,son in law and myself in every year turkey,antelope,deer,elk javelina at least 2 bighorn sheep tags all with money orders and zero dollars from my pay check.

I have a top end tent after 10 years one of the zippers broke, does anyone know a shop that can fix it?

My zipper had a 6 inch gap and wouldn't move even with pliers, they fixed it for $40 bucks, sweet deal for a $600 dollar tent.

I no where this buck was killed,who was the guy that missed a couple times on the dirt tank?
