Seldom Drawn replied to High Point Outfitters's topic in Elk Hunting
Great video I really liked it, I saw some of my friends on your video, looks like your horn growth was way down this year for your team, do you have any thoughts on this? how was unit 10 for you this past year and are you focusing more on some of the units around Flagstaff this year?- 7 replies

Other then guides and outfitters who have to abide to this or chance losing there license, and a few diy hunters that are law abiding do you really think most hunters have stopped baiting there is no enforcement of this ban.and still a ton of bait out their.

Sweet gret job, that buck looks like it needed to be taken out of the gene pool.

Why would you want to put in on line? paper is the way to go you have a whole year to save up your money.

How big do you think your number one buck is? -
I think you can continue the chase as long as the dogs are leased, but I could be wrong.

Pronghorn Questions From A Hopeful Goat Hunter
Seldom Drawn replied to lancetkenyon's topic in Antelope Hunting
If you are happy with killing a 80-82 inch goat keep scouting where you are looking,if you want a great chance up north killing a 85 inch plus wait 5-6 months to scout you have to realize the raffle and auction tag outfitters will be all over 9,10 and 5b scout and find 3 or 4 bucks you will be happy with if you find a giant in these units and he isn't in a hard to find spot Grimmets or another outfitter will kill it before your hunt ever starts between the finders fee or the ranch hands finding giants in the late spring, the bucks have no pressure and stay right by the road easy pickens for the auction tag. one unit i hunt had 3-4 bucks pushing 85 plus and only one that i know of was killed this year because no one usally scouts the country they don't think antelope will be in. good luck I hope you get drawn 21 years is a long time to have to wait. One thing i will tell you, 80 percent of the guys that wait as long as you kill something the first or 2nd day and it's useally it's a 70 inch class buck and they scout for a couple months, they just have waited so long and don't know anything about antelpoe they shoot anything they see, be patient antelope are very easy to kill with a rifle, kill the buck you will be happy with and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. -
Help needed, lost a good buck today

My nephew shot a pretty good buck down south today, he lives in Tucson, can anyone suggest a good Taxidermist in Tucson. Thank you

When I take women or kids on tougher hunts, I scout like crazy at least 3-10 days depends if I can find the animals how much time did you put in? I want them to have fun and want to come back so I have to really put the time in. How many days were you out?I have seen some good bucks friends shot in 21 but they scout as much or more as me sorry your wife didn't connect you might put her in for the early Kaibab hunt tell she draws it would be a slam dunk.
