Nothing a good fun beat down won't fix.
-
I bought a week ago and haven't received any stubs, It's ok I don't hunt with a gun anymore, but if I win it will go to my grandkids, the raffle goes to a good cause so It doesn't really matter anyway.

Jdub, If it's so fast and quick why did it take them 21 days last year to post the results after the first credit card hit
-
I already said 21 days after the first credit card was hit, that's what it was last year.
-
I would but it's a little smaller then I want, it is a good deal.
-
Heck yes , Great job Courtney.
-
I only do Money orders for my family it use to be7-10 days after the first cards hit then it went to 10-14 days but last years elk draw was 21 days after the first credit card hit

Really all this bashing for shooting a trout with a shotgun? and a 16 year old to boot
-
Can I ask what happen to the frame?
-
That's awesome you might want to go back to this area and look where the big boys already shed.

Why do you think you would get bashed? I have given hunters gps locations of bulls that I have found that I know they have shot for no reward other then the good feeling the hunter found his bull it's there their trophy. there is no need to inform game and fish why would you? If I found your bull I would tell you where I found it for no charge anyone that would want you to pay them $750 is a deuce. but now the greed for the gold many wouldn't tell you shoot if they found it but for 750 they can't get that much for a 350 bull so they might contact you, I hope you find it.

Sweet pictures, And it's pretty cool to see someone work there livestock to be out for 10 hours I have seen so many times city folk horse or Mule owners where there animals go down after 4 or 5 hour, .nice to see you care about your animals.

2014 Coues Deer Kill Distances Poll
Seldom Drawn replied to Little Creek Calls's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Murfys69law, I am really not disrespecting you long range shooters I have said it before I can't and don't want to shoot this far I can watch a giant Mule deer, or a 380 inch class bull all day long from 1'000 yards with know adrenaline they can't smell you or see you, I have bow hunted most of my life I really don't understand how you guys can get excited or your blood pumping from these ranges. to me it's all about being up close and personal, I think it's cool you guys get excited at these ranges I just don't get it. -
Good advice from CousePursuit, I don't know where you live but there use to be a fly shop in Tempe that could totally hook you up around Baseline and Kyrene road. I have some flies I can give you when you pass thru Flag if that would help?

JustinB, Not sure how many people are complaining they can't find sheds, Just most are not happy with the people driving the roads there not suppose to be on, or cross country. I met up with one guy carries cutters so he can drive thru all the barb wire fences. and as for them flying unit 9 they have been doing this for several years but they have to start somewhere. they picked this unit because they can make the most money with the fines but there are way more units besides 9. when do they look to the other units? And for whoever said this might lead to a shed season this wouldn't stop the guys driving down all these roads take a look at some of the other states and see how many guys have piles stashed for opening morning this will hurt 80 percent of the guys following the rules not the bad guys. -

It's all about the money, I have almost given up shed hunting altogether, I like to shed hunt even more then hunting but it has gotten so bad I work with 3 guys that always want to know how many I have found, one has even followed me. When they find some sheds it is never enough for them the greed has taken over. They don't do it for the love of it they do it for the greenbacks. As to the Leo coming out good luck with that, tried it before there isn't very many of them so they could be 100 miles away I took a short 6 hour walk on Saturday, there were 2 trucks back in off a closed road they tore it up with there ruts. How many elk and deer are still packing? But yet people have been out looking since January, Really I don't care what size I find they all get my blood pumping. -
Heck yes great day, those are some chunky looking fish, Great day with your Pops, I wish mine was still around I am kind of jealous.

Muley 224,I not going to disagree with your post but back then not many hunters cared about putting an animal in the book. Now a days with the internet and the big egos there are way more people that will book an animal. I saw pics when I was a kid of my pops and his friends animals that would blow away some of the giants we see today and they didn't even keep the racks old farmers that hunted for the meat.
-
90 percent of the bulls are still packing, be patient let the guys that have been out for 6 weeks quit pushing the elk all over the country, then go pick them up.

You can put in for Utah for a month and a half the same time every year, New Mexico and Nevada are the same time every year not sure if you really want to put in for these States how you could forget? If you have ever put in for them they send out multiple e-mails out before the draw.

Really you think they rehab the roads when they are done, where the heck do you live do you live? Not around Flagstaff, the Feds have given the loggers and ranchers different rules and laws It's still ok for them to make new roads and drive on all the new road closures like nothing has ever changed. You should see how bad they tear up the woods.
