I own several pistols and by far I prefer my H&K compact 45. great CCW and back up in the field. If used properly, it leaves no finger prints. Reloading saves tons of money for ammo. I don't leave home without it, ever.

The last two weekends I have been Muley hunting in Unit 21. This is part of the Tonto and was appalled by the amount of trash. Between shot guns shells and cans and bottles to shoot at it was a mess. tried doing my little part by picking up two full bags, but as soon as I finished you would just find more. More disturbing is the vandalism of a------holes shooting live junipers or anything they could aim at. I found one tree that was strung with shot gun shells, plastic bottles and cans. I know I am preaching to the choir on this forum but if these jerk wads continue this kind of reckless behavior, the forest service will just continue to close off these areas. Ok, I am done venting. on a good note, Almost got a shot at a nice 4x5 Muley and found him on two separate days but could not get close enough. Hope everyone has a fun new year. Stick em good and stick em hard

21 isn't even a southern unit but all the same people are trashing the forest. I have hunted the south units including Ft Huachca proper and you are certainly right on that. there are human trails going right through Ft Huachuca. In unit 21 don't see a lot of illegals or trails from illegals but you do see a lot of weekenders and campers who just trash the forests. One thing that really pisses me off is folks leaving their shells everywhere and shooting at trees and bldgs, and signs. Jack wads that do this can only be classified as trash and cow dung. I am being nice and certainly would not post what I really think. Law enforcement including the game and fish just can't stay up with the Jack wads that do this crap.

Just to add to how disable the function on IPhones: go to settings, then privacy, then to location services, then to camera and make sure it is off. of course big brother probably has a way to find it but us regular guys won't.

was wondering if anyone out there new of cabin rentals in 22n area of Mead Ranch just off of the FR 29? If not some where close around the Tonto Village area. My uncle has a late bull elk hunt up there and trying to locate a decent cabin to base out of.

This one I got in 22N three years ago. 6x7 but no spread. these animals have some weird genes.

I was at the game and the officiating was terrible however, that was a heads up play by the ASU defense at the end. Smoke and mirrors, GO DEVILS

Brother In Law Tagged OUT!!!
arizonaelkhunter replied to Becker's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Nice buck, getting anxious for upcoming hunts. -
the first pic shows markings like its game and fish, along with the numbers it might be them. I have heard that some folks mark their cameras like this to prevent folks from stealing them, not sure if that is the case here. if they are game and fish, the game manager for 24a should be able to answer your questions and may even share what has been seen on that camera.

Timbercamp is good to start, work the pockets and watch out for the mulees.

Coues for sure

I was recently out in area 21 looking for some new archery areas to hunt and stumbled into an area around Maverick Mtn that was just full of deer sign and pigs. Is anyone out there familiar with this area and have any suggestions on what kind of pressure this area gets during the January archery hunt.?

I have a new RTS BowMadness Xs Mp PSE bow and have been told by several folks to replace the string and cable prior to my archery elk hunt this fall. I know most stock bow strings are not quality and have been looking at the Stone Mountain titanium string as a replacement. anyone out there have any good or bad comments about this type of string or any better recommendations?

Does anyone have any advice on what the subject line above in excellent shape is worth? I have seen online anywhere from 150.00 - 250.00. it's the one with black cherry grips. It sold new for 649.99 and the price sticker is still on it. any feedback would be appreciated.

Do you know if they are coming out with an adapter for the I Phone 5 or if this one would work with an I phone? -

Just getting back into Bow Hunting and last Xmas my wife got me started again with the topic line above. I have shot about a hundred arrows on it and just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on improvements to make on it other than replacing the string and cables.
