I had heard (not for sure) that it had to do with the state charging thousands of people money and then sitting on it for months and months and collecting interest on milions of dollars in the process. You could see how that would sit wrong with a lot of people. But that may not be the law that you're talking about??

Not nice. On a serious note, I rolled out of bed to shut off the alarm clock, grabbed my phone and called in. Phone has been busy to g&F about a dozen times today, always gives my heart a jump. Not as bad as this thread though. not nice.

In 7mm Rem Mag, anything you can hit accurately with will do the trick. Cheap stuff, or superformance stuff all kill elk with no problem. And always remember, don't practice with 150gr Rem Corelokt and then go hunting with the premium 170gr stuff, you'll miss if its a long shot ha ha. Practice with what you'll hunt with. The Rem Core Lokt is great ammo for half the price of the premium stuff, and anything with a Nosler or Barnes or hornady up front is usually very good. My humble .02 cents worth.

I'm still high as a kite! Either I'm hunting a 9 or 7w bull OR I am calling in my dads first ever bull in 6a. Either way I'm elk hunting!!! whoooo-hoooo!! Congrats all those who drew something, and don't start drinking and breaking your weapons just yet those who haven't drawn.... it may still come, heck I remember one year some guys got tags way way way after the whole draw. (ie you never know whats going on down there) Keep your chin up...

hey I know its past the fact, but really curious since we got a tag... not sure which one yet.... Unit 9 archery with 5 pts or unit 6a archery with zero points either my tag or dads first tag ever. odds have to be pretty low I imagine.

If the tag is mine, I had 6 pts. If it's my dads, he had zero pts.

Got some news last night, game and fish employee said that this year they are really going to do everything they can if someone gets drawn and there's a problem with their credit card, to make contact with them and sort it out. Great news for those individuals, but that can only mean that the entire process it's going take a while longer to get posted online.

So sorry guys! I drive over to dads house to confirm his credit card charge of 130 something dollars.... Not game and fish! I repeat...we were NOT hit! My blood pressure! ! ! ! ! Ugh! I feel like I have to defend my honor ha ha ha Dad called me just as I was pulling this page up... said hey we just got hit on credit card for about 130 bucks! I'm like no way! how do you know its Game and Fish? He said I don't know, but we haven't put anything on it in a month just waiting like you said.... so I posted that we got hit. So then I drove over there to help the old folks set up an online banking thing so we could see on the computer what the transactions were... mom tried but messed it up, it was a nightmare over there on the phone and computer trying to get it all sorted out... Finally got logged in.... $132 interest charge. F M L! soo sorry to have cried wolf! my heart can't take this crap I tell ya!!!
