I just put in for another Pronghorn/Antelope tag over in NM Have never been drawn there as of yet, but I think I may this year!!! Anyway after looking over the regs online I couldn't find and answer to my question: Can I use a ten round hunting mag in NM in a semi-auto rifle to hunt Pronghorn?

Maybe those muleys just run through there in the spring when they drop and so you never see them there come hunting season.

I wear my camo shed huntin because thats the only pants I own, plus I see more coyotes out and about when I am shed hunting than any other time, so I bring my AR-15 along and pop em! And I sneak up on deer and elk etc. . . And besides its just more fun that way. . . . its like my five year old jumps higher when he has his cape on!

Got out yesterday and got stuck for the first time in my jeep. Yes we all make mistakes once in a while. And yes I was on a road and trying to stay out of the mud. The road was open and there were tracks there. Not one single antler . . . Gosh was trying to have some fun but gettin beat up here. . . . . I'm takin my ball and going home.

Spoke to seems like all five thousand hunters up there in 12A-East. There were a billion of them for sure. All told the same story, no bucks, lots of does. . . . I heard the guys across the street in 12A-W dropping the hammer every twenty minutes every day. So I decided that I should not pass up the biggest buck I'd ever seen (with a tag in my pocket) I don't imagine he is very big by Kaibab standards, but he is a brute in my eyes. I popped him in the bottom of a canyon (the only canyon that I found green grass in) he was with four other bucks, all small guys. I hit him with my 7mm Rem Mag at about 200 yards with one of those Copper bullets that were all suppoesed to shoot up there these days. He dropped in his tracks! I can't believe how big his body was. . . 220 lbs! What a hog! They don't get that big down here where I hunt em with my bow! Anyway I am excited to death to show off my first ever Kaibab buck. Yeah he's not the biggest one, but he's in the freezer baby! Thanks for lookin. {clickable pictures}
