Great buck! My first buck was a four point about like that when I was twelve. Hooked for life.

Thanks all for the props. We couldn't find a tape measure before leaving it with T.C. to take to taxidermy shop, but we rough measured it at 28in wide.

I finally got a story written and a video put together of my archery buck. Still can't believe I was finally able to get it done. I've been hunting with my bow for 8 years and had yet to kill anything with it. I've taken a few buck with my rifle. There is the letter of the law and the principle of the law and having to give the g&f the horns like this is just stupid. Just my two cents!:-)

Thanks for the comments. T.C. was using a sworo spotting scope with his iphone. He now has smartoptix adapter so he won't shake so much. Thanks again flatlander for the help hauling it out!

That thing is a beast! Good job.

My cousin shot this buck on the rifle hunt last year. This can be a tough hunt. My cousin has some physical limitations, but in two years in a row that he hunted the unit it was the only deer he saw. I finally went out and got him on this good buck. The unit holds deer most every where just very low densities. The trick is to get up and glass. You won't see many romping through. Although that is how we got on this buck, but this was a one and a million luck buck. The game and fish website gives good area to check.
