So the first couple of hunts are in the books already and you are holding a November tag in the 36's. The road bucks are in garage freezers already. The smart bucks have seen this years class of new shiny Rangers and Razers buzzing up and down every known two tracker. The survivors have heard the rifle reports or maybe even felt the hot rocks from misses near the hooves. So my question is-where is your favorite place to glass, High?, The Rollers or in the flats? Just curious. All .02 welcomed.

I guess we have gotten spoiled by technology. Remember when we used get up at 3am, in the middle of July, to call the Game and Fish morning after morning until alas we got through? Then actually call our buddies on the phone to say "I got through, we drew unit ..........". Good luck, shoot straight and be safe.

I agree. Feels like there must have been a hiccup somewhere in the draw room or alot of people are being real quiet this time around (not likely). I took/completed/passed my hunter safety course back in March. I received my laminated card/diploma in the mail a short time after however, my extra point has yet to show up in the portal or by checking it the old way. I spoke to the draw room before the draw and was assured that its there and would eligable for the fall draw. At that time I was also told they would be switching to a new system that was to be in effect for the fall draw. My guess is it crashed over the weekend. Just my .02.

Awesome video. Thank you for sharing. Can never get enough of watching them and their natural behavior. Mine seem to be of them hauling a$$ over the next ridge all the time...... -
The draw results can't come soon enough for me. This year I feel like I'm going bananas.......Hopfully a weeklong stay in Greer next week will get it to subside. Catching trout and fishing miller lite's out of the cooler ought about do it.

I'll second the motion JLW mentioned. Does that didn't get bred the first time around will cycle one more time a month later. This causes the dominant bucks to hang around just a little longer to pass on thier bloodline in preparation for dropping their antlers and some down time. The mature bucks and bulls will shed first so they can stay on schedule to begin growing their new racks before the pip squeaks.

Excellent worksmenship on the video. I enjoyed it. I also caught a glimpse of 4 peaks and Apache Leap in the rearview mirror was very creative.
