Really leaning to the nitto or toyo open country Mt. 2 guys at work have them and are happy but they have lifted trucks with 35 and 37 in tires so may not be the same as stock. They are 10 ply so should be tuff tires

Wolf news hits close to home
MULEPACKHUNTER posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
http://www.mogollonrimnews.com/more-wolf-releases-planned-for-west-of-heber-overgaard/ Hope the link works, we just keep making up new ways to be wasteful and opposite of for the people by the people. I don't really know what to say , they are in my hunting areas at times, the closures will really hurt up there for sure. It seems way too populated up there for it to be an approved site? Makes zero sense. Zero -
Spent the week in a new hunting area waaaaayyyyyy off the roads. I had hiked to this area a few years ago and Edge had been there before that. I knew after the hike it was going to be rough. Turned out pretty smooth except for the catclaw and overgrown. Deer scouting didnt really happen as we ended up doing trail maintenence and exploring and some general relaxing but there was deer sign and Javi sign in very large amounts. I managed to find several beds within a mile or so of camp. Edge brought a 10lb pork roast for a lunch snack and we had elk burgers in the evening. Having a veteran of war and packing in camp was a real treat. I learned a few new tricks and some valuable intel for future trips to any camp. Enjoy.

Very nice job.

The miles really isn't the issue, even an unworked animal can walk 15 miles, the issue is elevation and footing. 3 miles of this was steep and as rocky as you can get. My guess is about 8 miles one way.

Sorry guys just got back from pack trip, thanks for all the suggestions. This helps a bunch.

Great set, I have the same deal, love those. I hate packing them though. Too heavy

Yep its that time, we have raised beds as well, 3 about 8x5. Also did some work on the chicken house since I lost my birds to yotes last year including a 35 lb turkey. Cant wait to get back to fresh eggs. We usually do lettuce, tomatoes, squash, peppers, potatoes up north, herbs of all kinds. Really leaning on getting a few pigs this year and we get rabits from our neighbor every ounce in a while. The garden in Heber just goes nuts, going to have to expand up there this year, Last year there were several trips up where I just brought protein and had all the fixins from the garden, Potatoes do really well up there. Anyone ever do some corn?

OK really annoying, I clicked for about 20 minutes and can't get pricing for airtime so basically it sucks. Why do these companies have to be so greedy, looks like tax code. 600.00 bucks up front and airtime and text and data charges , better off just getting a sat phone

Good javi hunting starts at noon

9,10,8 pics will be zero odds, guessing the 5a,5bs pics are in the 15 percent draw odd range. What does flatlanders calculator say?
-
All in, ouch. I need to quit doing all our licenses at the same time as elk draw. Lol painful. Going all in for unit 10 HD hunt,,, not!!!!

My whole family went through FAST-AZ They are very good and they do every aspect so you leave only needing a cashiers check and stamps. We shot at Ben Avery and did the class at cabelas. Highly recommend anyone carrying to take a good all day course, I learned a lot on the laws in az and other states. Even some I though I was good on and I was completely wrong. My wife just sent her packet in, my son, dad, mom, sister all went through. If you think you can handle yourself and a firearm well take this course with simulated real world scenario and you learn real quick you are not as solid as you think.

OUR DECEMBER HUNT--A TRIBUTE
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to mmlj's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Nice work, not much better than a good partner, hunting or not. -
Wow, this is really bad. Jay Scott has already done podcasts on this and other outfitters are telling clients all about the fees scuing hunt decisions. Man I feel bad for these guys who hunt up there. What a mess. I think I'm going to just stop even looking at this until it is settled down. Hard not to say this looks like an outfitters influence on the leasee and some greed.

OK how about almost zero prep on a good slab of concrete just setting the tile in a brick lay pattern and no grouting. Approx 800 sq ft I am thinking 18 in tile or saltillo?? Pm if needed. I used to do tile for a living as well. I may even have it layed out with chalk lines as well. I will have all materials staged and ready on site.
