Why is the guide to blame? He didn't shoot and claim the bull? His job is to find a bull for the hunter not give his ethics to him? Why do you think the guide walked, his hunter shot it and claimed it what's the guide supposed to do. He probably said my client is an idiot and walked away from the situation.

Couple of recent new items for me thought I would give some thoughts on them. 1) Kuiu tiberon pants Love these so far, I spent about 7 days in these on two trips this year. First was backpack hike in, I left the side vents open the whole trip, I added suspenders as well. Did some bushwacking and night hiking and they did everything well. One suggestion would be zipp off legs for the hike in part, overall I would recommend them, they held up to brush and manzanitas and a few wait a minute bushes. Love the stretch fabrics and drying ability, I got rained on several afternoons and just crawled into my bag and was dry in an hour or so. I went a size up since I run suspenders and liked the fit being on the loose side. Second trip was horse pack in, even better on this trip since it was minus the backpack hike. Rode a few miles in them and no signs of wear. These are my first high end camo pants and they are worth the price for sure. 2) green belly meals Loved these totally, very balanced nutrition in resell able light weight package. I even reused one package for oatmeal breakfast to save weight on my bowl. I ordered some more and will use them to replace all other meal bars. My daily meal was one bar (2 bars per pack 650 calories) for morning and one for midday, I had a bagel butthole sandwich for lunch and mtn house propack for dinner. Several of the days it was raining so I ate a bar for dinner in the tent and had mtn house for lunch. These are on the pricey side but I only use them on occasion at home or work and for hunts and I felt they were worth every penny. 3) grinds coffee pouches These are chew pouches made with coffee instead of Tobacco , I have turned 3 guys on to these and all 3 quit chewing with them. I now keep them around to give up coffee. I also tried not bringing any coffee this year and just stuck one pouch in my lip after breakfast. Makes the morning real quick and I'm hunting rather than cooking water. Carmel is really good flavor.

That's an anvil mic, can do many jobs but mostly it's for measuring a hole to a surface. It can be a mic by adding a flat ground plate, a pin mic by adding a pin, a depth mic as well. Very good tool. -
+1 on that, even better donate it and go help out as well.

You could make that body easy on your machines then just have a tool shop braze on the carbide. Could be under a hundred bucks -
Solar shower works well, also I do the bucket and floormat option a lot. Throw that solar shower on the hood of truck and it's hot as heck late in the day. Last week I just had 2 1 gallon jugs in the truck keeping warm, when I hit the trailhead I tossed the floormat down , hung the towel on the door and washed away.

It's called a lathe, lol A fixture on a lathe would do that quick and threads too. Nothing wrong with it though, specially if you do 1 a year. -
Love mulies in the desert very cool, congrats.

I just watched a YouTube vid on new nightforce tripod that looks to be exactly what I need. I have been toying with rigging a 3 rd truck pole for a quick detach plate and bungee it to my other 2 and make a tripod then I can bring poles like I always do and ditch the tripod while backpacking. Well nightforce just made a new pod that does just that only way nicer than my idea. Search nightforce tripod on YouTube and check it out. Sweet. Head is not the best but will work. Only bad deal is I think my tripod and 2 trekking poles may be lighter so need to weigh them.

Awsome man congrats, mules are a lot of work but make the hunt more of an adventure. I struck out on a New Mexico tag but I have a spot and will keep trying.

I'm on the stone glacier wagon. Only reason for me is weight. 1 lb is a lot in my book. I just came off the mountain and I was cursing every gram of weight all the way out.
