Cool deal there congrats -
I've been snapping photos the last few years in the same areas and for sure the back ends seems smaller this year from the last few. Fronts look real good on most but short and thin back ends . I do have video of one real good one out of maybe 10 bulls , I saw a good one in Heber at the gas station headed home with someone but no photo.

It wouldn't be any better , the jerks that are in power would steal and squander no matter what business was down there. -

I know for sure now some of these older cows and does have people dialed in. I have had both lick on my backpack and cameras. I woke up one morning last year sure there was a bear digging through my pack right next to my bivvy, I sat frozen with pistol in hand for several minutes figuring on what to do, I decided to ease my head out and I see this cow elk going to town on my shoulder straps. Lol since then I have had deer and another cow elk do the same . Does are notorious for stealing horse feed in areas where people have packed in for years. They learn it and teach it down the line so for years I see does right in with their fawns picking up after the mules. And yes bears are terrible with cameras,

Onx on my I phone is all I use now. Yes you can use it without any signal but yes you just download the area you want ahead of time and save it then use airplane mode when your out and it is a gps and maps and you can track yourself and Mark gps locations. You can also easily drop a pin location to another onx user. Not sure about signal on that one but guessing you would need it to send a pin. One of the things I like is when I log into it on my computer I have all my markers right there automatically transferred and I can add them there as well and they come up on my phone. I love it and it's all I use now.

What do you guys think, I am done testing broadheads and locked in. Magnus stinger 100 grn head Easton FMJ 340 at 505 grn total weight Not sure on speed but they hit hard and straight. Need an extra target so I'm not tearing up nocks.

Totally ready, fitness is good , weight is good, bow is on, broadheads dialed, tags in the bag, mules are ready, just happened to be doing some trailer wiring today then it's an oil change and we head out on Sunday for 5 days in the woods. Good luck all.

Thanks for the discussion guys, I know there is a lot out there, after shooting 5 different heads I ended up going with the Magnus stinger 100 grn fixed 2 blade . These are shooting great out to 60 yards so far and holding up very well in the block target and foam deer. I really like the iron wil heads also but they don't shoot as good as the Magnus. So I did end up adding a little weight up front and ended just over 500 grn total arrow weight. In the wind they are dang good and very forgiving on release. I cranked the bow up just a tad but need to hit Ross and see what the weight is at. It did tighten up my sight tape for sure. Few more weeks till archery opener so good luck out there.

Curious on experienced opinions on Trophy T Loc and Montec by G5? I'm shooting both right now with good flight from both but what's the scoop on Montec vs Elk? I only have minimum experience with T loc on game?
