Need Help Purchasing "Primary" Hunting Rifle
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to rpowell600's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
That attitude is exactly what's wrong with this site these days. Sometimes a guy or gal just wants to talk to other hunters. Guys like me have very few friends and are alone with their wife most of the time so these conversations are hard to come by. Lighten up A little and humor a fellow human. You might make a friend or help someone out. -
Without being able to hunt with this thing not sure why one would want one. I thought that until I shot subsonic 300 blk and sub .308 !!!!! Crazy fun, the 308 is like a pellet gun in recoil and sound. Absolutely crazy. Only issue is the 308 won't cycle but who cares it's super fun. IMG_1543.MOV

While looking up how to ride a mule I was hit with an ad for a new film called proving ground. One of the best ads I have seen, very quickly nailed my interest without me picking up that is was an ad. Then what a great production and advertisement for Mathews bows and hunting. Check out YouTube

AZ Coues hunters headed to Colorados GMU 74
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to TyThur111386's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
I spent a little time in that area the last few years and you will have a blast. I was scouting for otc and only ran into hikers and bikers but it would be easy to get away from them. Hands down the best way would be to backpack a few days at a time and not do a base camp everyday type deal, being mobile and not having to restart each day is a huge advantage. Awsome area and congrats, also be ready for full trailheads and outfitters but there is still a lot of area to be alone. -
That ship was built and sailed a long time ago, when they allowed sale of land in the checker pattern around state or federal lands . Nothing we can do now but buy it back and hold it in trust for the people. This is why I spend my money with foundations that do just that.

Want to sell the black gold separate?

Looks like a team roping horse to me, good at chewing down logs if need be. Feet look good, nice job there. Could be a good first mule for someone, just a note but any mule in nasty rough mountain country is a good one, it's the flat wide meadow trails that are the real test.

This format is just amazing , I consume approximately 15 to 20 hours a week myself. I drive a lot and they are amazing on hikes and runs. There are so many great shows and guests it's endless. Search by topic or genre and pick the ones you want. i find that rennela is best when he is on others shows. If you want a different take try the one he did with David Chang the chef. Anything with Neil de grass Tyson, remi warren , Shane Mahoney, a lot of rogan guests stuff you missed in history class how stuff works planet money back country hunters with Hal herring splendid table dan Flores a few of Kifaru cast trail runner nation candice Burt "humans for running "

So happy to have my outdoor partner in crime back from a year deployment. what do you do when you get that call from a 20 plus year Army veteran saying he needs a "day"???? hold on I got this, home made breakfast early morning then it was off to Ben Avery archery range , we spent 4 hours with 3 bows getting them all dialed and ready for the year ahead. After a fresh lunch we set up the awning for some unloading of brass. 2 hours, and half a bucket of empties later and it was time for round 3!!!! Lake Pleasant fishing to close out the day and welcome in the next. Guess I need to step up my game , when all that was over the only words I got on the drive home was " what we doing tomorrow"??? Welcome home Brian.

My back hurts, filets and more filets. All cut and wrapped for my buddies family to enjoy. I am hearing rumors of some sort of employment opportunity to cook these as well, now it's time to barter for some time on the family batting cage. Maybe the first trade for guiding fishing , cooking and prepping for batting cage time!!!! what should I cook to hook these folks on wild game??? "My world famous fish tacos are a given"

Here's the bow to go with the arrows, at full draw it feels more like 60lbs, I'm guessing my draw is longer than planned for this build its 65 X 50lbs and very cool that its ambidextrous, shot it from both sides. -
Get that with bears a lot, never had a cat on cam but bears 5 min after setting up is common for me.

Ya it's illegal to cross the border without proper identification and it's illegal to speed but seems these days there are no consequences, free for all
