Stopped in the new Scheels this week, ended up with some reloading items fairly priced even compared to dealer pricing. Not really impressed with the store overall. Same store different location. Staff was very good I will say.

Just for reference, I have a 2 head 37K split in my garage, 1000 sq feet, 2x6 construction stucco on foam with plywood and 5/8 drywall inside and crap insulation. My issue area ids my roof is plywood then foam then poly paint and thats my hottest spot with laser. Garage doors are insulated and sealed pretty well all around. I am currently running at one time a cnc mill and engine lathe (welder, lights, laser, at odd times). This set up barely keeps up in the hottest part of the summer so i usually work at night or mornings til noon. 48K would have been the way to go for my set up. I do plan to upgrade the insulation this year and add more foam and paint to the roof, this should help for next summer. An 18K unit isnt going to do much unless you sit in front of it. I added a 24K unit to the cabin in Heber and that thing has been great in the afternoons and warming things up on cold mornings. cools off 1200 sq feet real well up there.

I am a dealer for MR COOL and sell alot of DIY kits, I have one in my shop. Need some details on size of shop and insulation and what your doing in the shop?

My brain was off on guns or something, this was loads he tossed together with no load development. I was quoting what he sent me. He said pretty tight for factory ammo. I’m not involved on his end and still waiting for group pics. The scope thing really messed things up.
-
The guy went to shoot it today and it shot jagged holes with factory ammo but he didnt know about the course adjustment under the scope cap and was way high at 100. Said he would get me some groups next week. Anyone else run into this with 20 moa rails? I feel like Leupold is the only one I have seen this on.

Barrel is Kreiger Sendero 26.5 long 1:8.5 twist. With a 4 port 2.4 long Break shes a bit long but not too bad off hand. The owner is 6'4" and Length of pull is 14.25 so it kind of evens out. As it sits came out to 11 lbs or just a hair under. VX 5 scope is pretty light.

I don't have specks on the reamer, it was customer owned. I just made the Hole. It was from Manson and specked per Erick Cortina recommendation. Hard to keep up with all the details on some of the custom stuff.
-
I think there are more disadvantages, its a new round so no brass, no dies, no factory ammo. Its really for long range set ups, less recoil, less powder, same speed, less extreme spread, more consistant groups, less fussy. Its just a slight improvement here and there for guys that are focussed on precision in the 7mm family. Its just like the Ackley, the BR, the GT stuff. Slight improvements over rounds really similar. Oh and you could get away with short action, but the best would be a medium action, both being shorter stroke than the long action 7 PRC.
-
Ya the PRC is getting out of hand, but for the precision and efficiency this W is really nice. Made a custom full length die for this as well so should be a shooter.
