Funny this came up, I have two burn spots from last year that were nice slow ground burns and I plan to hit both hard for morels during the otc season. They are supposed to still be in old burns also but I haven’t found any

That’s cool man save me a bar

I wear Kuiu and Firstlite haha, it was free or cheap and it works.

I’m hoping it will happen next season. Buy online and mail it to me. Perfect. At least they finally made the online archery pay happen at Ben Avery. Really dumb you had to stop and go in the building to pay when they never check guys anyway.

Ya I agree with the financials, need someone to handle the cash and pay up front so we are committed. If someone needs out they can sell their spot or discount it or just lose it. I really like the 10 to 15 idea unless Im the 16th dude!!!!

Update on the old Ram diesel , so My turbo modulator took a dump and cracked leaking coolant into the electronics. So 3800.00 dollars later I now find out two other guys I know had theirs go out around 100,000 miles and im finding out its a common deal on the ram 6.7. Well I would have said nothing but great on this truck up until now. Guess ill be rethinking my next purchase. These trucks were all 2015 and newer.

I would be in for something as well but not liking the time frame, especially since you will most likely want to do it over a weekend???? Weekdays are the only way to go in my opinion and that's right in the middle of hunting and camping season

Still wouldn't do it. Im that "hey whats over that hill guy" I have a hard time not wondering, I hate fences and roads. That's a big factor here, I can hit a trailhead and walk or ride for 2 days and not see a road. I can ride right out of my front yard in several directions and cover a lot of miles with no obstructions but maybe crossing a few roads. That's not going to last forever. Im also actively trying to buy land right by my place so maybe im already answering my own question.

I would never live in Texas, zero interest in zero public land

Had one running the house just not enough to run AC

Ya like Edge said my kids are here, I actually work in the same company as my son. That would be a factor but not a deal breaker. Ounce the kids moved out we just don't get together that much. We have a family cabin in Heber also and mom is currently staying there most of the year. so even if we sold our place here we still have a home here.

Ya im feeling like AZ is heading fast to the liberal side but then again most states are. You just cant get away form the cities in each state dictating for us. Its a good possiblilty we will end up snowbirding here in AZ and Maybe Here and Colorado. We have been focused a lot on Colorado for the summers. We do love our home here and I think that would be our best bet. We are always watching and looking with no rush but we should be in a place to buy land soon so figured if there were some horror stories on some of our picks it would help to have first hand experience. I was born and raised here by the way. Thanks for the discussion

Prescott is overpopulated these days and there’s not a lot of dispersed camping. Camp wood is a drive but is pretty nice area. A few spots along wolf creek road or up by drake pit

Any WValley garage door torsion spring repair guys?
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to SpotNStalk's topic in Classified Ads
I bought some under the table and fixed myself. Total racket those dang springs. I welded mine originally and was fine for 5 years until it broke somewhere unrelated. Some dumb jerk sued Home Depot years back so now you have to pay surgeon wages for some drunk to work on your garage door while the company owner pockets his days wages. sorry touchy subject. -
Cal ranch had a few and all supplies needed. Get a big one you’ll want it later

I have been dreaming of hitting Lanai for an axis hunt but havnt looked into it yet, thinking a road trip wont work for that. Im also considering Oryx in New mexico but that's a draw hunt for next year. -
well on the point guard I guess I just dont have a cheating mind, I couldn't come up with a downside. I stand corrected. I guess since the bad folks can come up with these loop holes it keeps us good folks from benefitting from a good thing since someone will always find a way to turn it to a bad thing.

Care to explain? What exactly does it hurt?

I am not familiar with the point deal in number 3 but I will say I think they should expand the tag surrender. I used my point guard due to a family death and that broke my heart more ways than one. It helped out another hunter and saved my 9 years of waiting for my dream hunt. Now god forbid if something was to happen when I draw again I would be devastated. I think if your turning a tag in early and not at the last minute it should be unlimited if you buy point guard. Also point guard should be more than 5.00 bucks. Maybe its more expensive after you use it and it goes up each time. I haven't really seen anything on tag turn ins and how that is effecting the system or guys that take the tags so maybe the volume can be an issue. I agree with creed on game cameras, I just jumped back into that game and I have never had any issues with other hunters or theft the way I use them. I also agree on the system having to take my info redundantly, I can click two buttons on my phone and have coffee hot and ready for me at a drive through paid for. It is interesting on the pressure issue but I don't think game camera usage is going to put much of a dent in human traffic in the woods. Shed season, hikers, campers, trail runners, jeep clubs, UTV clubs, mountain bikers, fisherman, and just general day drivers and photographers all play a roll there. The one thing I would like to see is all those other groups mentioned start contributing to conservation. You do have to say though that this is a year where I don't think I saw one complaint about the draw??? Great job AZGFD on that deal

Land and water conservation fund passes !!! i want to know why so many republicans voted no on this???? Pretty much every conversation group I’ve ever heard of supports this and it looks to be a good thing for the hunting world in the US so I just don’t get it.
