Well just to update, everything went fine and G&F called yesterday to correct my card information. We drew tags for the family and the system seemed to work well. Thank god, with no Elk draw and no Deer draw we needed some good news. So I guess if you do the online and your card gets messed up somehow don't worry too much it will most likely be ok, I will be doing the online form now on. The best thing about the online part is maybe 2 things, getting your license right when you buy it and you can print it and also save it electronically and print it again if needed, second is all the information is auto filled out when your start, no fretting over every letter in every box, literally my first time to do 3 apps with 4 individuals in different sequences I think it took me 15 minutes after printing licenses and saving data. You also get receipts of transactions emailed immediately.

So of course after fighting the online process for several years I went for it with the Javi draw and it went very smooth I must say, until today when I received my new CC. OUch. I called AZGF and they are filing a special note to call me if drawn because they can see that my cards exp date is incorrect but they cant change it even though the deadline was last night. Man very frustrating, they were of course able to charge me for my app fee and license fee for 2014 before the new card took hold but now I will be rejected if drawn for my my Kids Javi hunts. Why cant they just charge the dang thing right when I put it in?????? This would not be an issue and they wouldnt have to have all the handling crap of all those numbers and cards. GF said they would call if rejected to fix any issue so we should be ok but I have a stomach ache now!!!! Venting completed

Now when you start firing those just neck size and you full length won't push material down to the belt and you should get 6 plus loadings at least. I am on 7 with mine so far.

Good deal, way to break the ice. -
Love this post, thanks for writing, I think I have a few of those cals in storage that were handed down to me, I will have to break them out and see. Yes there are opportunities in AZ for long shots but there are opportunities for close shots as well, just depends on how hard you want to work. Dont miss, it will ruin your day every time.

Lots of extra velcro, deer are atracted to the sound. It pulls in bear to so be careful

If it was me I would have them recut the chamber and reset headspace. Number one should be to check the chamber diameters. If the chamber is bad polishing won't fix it. Its most likely just a tight dull reamer chamber. Did they say they would check the chamber for spec?

Same here, only way we could find em was bummping them or from the road but its so thick in some spots there were no shots. I glassed like crazy with my wife and we saw zero.

Good deal, I will be in 29 in a few weeks for the fist time so maybe I will see some in there.

I looked into this since a recent bear kill durring a deer hunt sent us packing out in a hurry to keep the hide good. Basically learn to cape the head, not sure on the paws I havnt got that far yet and of course bring salt in with you. Lots of salt then you will have plenty of time. Ask a taxi about the paws

How did we end up??? I helped a friend drag one out and MADX got his wife on one. Man it was tuff for us though, I drove and hiked like heck and didnt see nuttin but 200 does. Finally got lucky when someone a ridge over spooked a herd to our hilltop. I stopped her with a yell and my buddy dropper her. We were 20 yards form the road and hooked her to the winch. I saw my first wolf at 12 noon on Sunday. I tried the meat and hide on ONe of my mules and had some rodeo time. He calmed after attempt #2 and walked around in the woods with me. What a beautiful weekend it was up there (except the full moon). I had heard the road hunting was bad up there but it was quiet where we were. I was in unit 8 last year and it was like downtown traffic there.

The online deal was very good actually, it was just the timing thing this year with my card going out in October so I may try to get my card company to move my valid date for my next card so it hits in April or something. Online I was able to print out all of our licenses and I have emailed reciept of everything. All of our info was auto filled out by the system since we had applied before even though it was by paper. It was quick and easy and I was impressed. So for now it looks like online is good unless this CC thing bites us. Leftovers are great if you know the units but I only have 1 Javi unit so far. I hate to drag the kids around somehwere I dont know and maybe not tag out. Last year was so good I am going to have fun matching it. I would say maybe even next year 2015 we will be inline only. Thats why I started now.

Even if I shot all that in the parking lot of the processor I don't think I could get all that done in 2 days, Nice work and congrats. Sounds like a record breaker there. Protein overload this year for you guys.
