All the respect I can give by text is given. What a great example of outstanding ethics from start to finish. From hard decisions not to fling arrows to making sure dayly responsibilities were taken care of. Even if it means I don't get a tag I hope you guys draw again soon. Huge congrats.

Awesome thanks for sharing, I recently ordered 3 books on arizona wild edibles, every year we go archery during monsoon and see tons of edible mushrooms and green and onions so I am going to start using them in camp. Going for some pear fruits next weekend.

I got a say I never hunted much so when I went help on a cow hunt in 8 I brought all my shiny new calls and hand me down camo. Well day 1 we road hunted cuz thats what you do in 8 in Dec and after a while I spot several cows off road and as we are driving past I ask passenger why those elk are not good enough and he says holly crap dad stop the truck and they bail with the truck moving and me in the back seat so I consider my options and decide to crawl in front and park the truck. Meanwhile these 2 guys are trying to find a good rest on trees and when the cows start to roll out I let off same cow calls on my truth mouth call and they stop dead in their tracks. Well I keel calling and they stand there with no less than 3 bullets flying and then soon after they haul it out of there. Well I get a lamb basting for scaring them to heck with my calls since no elk sounds off like that. Then dad says son I never seen elk stand still for 3 missed shots like that he can call any way he wants. Lol I never did mention the truck driving thing even after the adrenaline made them repeat how they missed no less that 9 times over the next hour. Lol I then knew what elk fever was And road hunting.

Omg. Too funny. You guys better not call me in some day. I have heard these stories for years. Like said before it works sometimes. I say every time I zero out after hiking 30 miles I am converting to road hunting.

Dude flesh on the wife's tile not cool.

I thought this would be better for the family strength section but my phone would not allow new topic so here it goes. Recently my wife and I were looking for an old style movie to watch one evening and I stumbled over little house season one on disc so that was the road we took. I am thinking this should be required for all us citizens. If you want some good old fashion family faith TV time look no further. We are on season 2 now and I wish I could just jump in there and buy a farm. I was watching an online christian service the other day and it was brought up by chance that Mr ingals in theory may have been the perfect man? dang close if you ask me? He mentioned that television over the years has slowly degraded the father figure in almost every case and as I went back thinking about some past shows it was very true, think about that one. Look at all the dads on tv and see where the industry has placed them. Mostly as idiot, bumbling, shadows in the home who could not live without the women. This and many other things is why I have no television.

Team Teel! First archery Coues Deer January 2014
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to s.teel12358's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Very nice congrats. Thanks for sharing and welcome. Just for the record no one likes show offs!!!! Kidding -
Not sure how or why. I guess its schedule and lifestyle differences like some have suggested but I find that most things I do in life including hunting is done solo. I enjoy the challenge of being alone off the grid but I also can say for sure I would rather have a good hunt camp with friends or family over solo it just doesn't happen that way. I have been very lucky with a few guys I hunt with who can go solo and hike in deep with camp on their backs. Even if we hunt alone once we get in we meet up at base camp and hang out. I dream of all things full hunt camps and solo and everything in between. I say try them all just like ice cream

I fixed my truck with egr delete and external oil cooler for 2800.00 with labor. No issues so far since and I have 200,000. Miles on it. Only thing is some times after a long drive it will have a rough idle for a few minutes but it goes away after a few street lights. Anyone ever have a rough idle issue on 6.0?
-
I have a similar issue, But I have the late coues tag and my dad has the late Mulie hunt both in 24b. I will be up scouting soon around the roosevelt side of the wilderness. good luck on your scouting and hunt.

Nice I go that way all the time, I will PM

Interested in 30/30. Location?

Where did you get fuel? They have had bad fuel a few times lately? Almost sounds like unleaded fuel contamination. My mechanic is in wickenburg and is honest if needed. Others than that deer valley diesel gets decent reviews.

Crazy that blue ridge is closed and very low. 19 percent as of today. 6 months ago it was 60,percent.

Ya I don't know much about the Robertsons. I have made a few in educated comments in the past on Phil but I had only seen on e episode and it was really not worth watching but I have heard several times they are a good family. Maybe I will see some of their good stuff some day.

What are the axles on that truck? Both straight axles and what gearing if you know?
