Good deal man congrats. So why not camp out and forgo the hotel ? Just curious. Thanks for sharing -
Is it just me oram I the only one who thinks the need for orange is so sad I don't even know how to explain it? I know there are less than bright hunters around but come on are you telling me that there is a need to post to all visitors to the public forest lands during hunting season that they better not blend in or they may be shot? With 5000. Dollar optics and 1000. Dollar optics on every knob and ridge that I better not take my mules on a rifle hunt come on really? Are we really just pulling gunslinger Draws off the hip at deer and elk when something stirs in the brush? I own no orange and if someone takes a shot at me they better be ready for 1000 lbs plus of mule and guns barring down on them if they can't tell the difference!

In seriousness, maybe dropping some new or additional water catch equipment or doing some sort of habitat improvment project.
-
They were dropping carcasses for edges cat hunt.

Getting done on the mules too love it. Great deer congrats.

Outstanding. Next time I am tired and sore and don't want to hike to that next ridge I will think of this guy.

I hit this pretty hard early on in reloading but I have not had the time to build a gun to suit it. I agree good brass negates some of the need and neck tension is very important. The most difference I ever saw was in SD which if I had the right rig would make a big difference at long range. I think AZkiller stole my checklist. Mr Zedyker I believe I have mentioned before has a book reloading for competition and if you want to learn about all the little tiny things that can move reloads around this book has it all from different presses to powder lots to neck turning. The biggest difference I ever saw was in primers and their effect on SD. These guys are making jagged holes at 800 yrds.

Nice job congrats -
Sound like we all had the same week, I didnt do much at all. I ate well but exercise was reserved for the mules and a bunch of worked hours. Looking forward to a better week this week.

Congrats again.

Beautiful.

Nice write up and congrats. I would love to see the sign at the restaurant that says closed for elk season. Lol

I know its likely they were hunting but how do you know for sure if a parked vehicle is hunters. I k ow many time we have gone to our special area only to find vehicles. So we spend the next few hours thinking the worst so sure there will be 5 tripods set up on our ridge only to glass up hikers and a young family doing trail work. Lol
