suzuki drz 400 is a great ready to go right off the floor dual sport, good range and plenty of power. Most brands have a comparable model like it also. I rode a drz 400 about 200 miles on dirt roads in a single sitting a few years back and was happy with it. My last bike was a 2015 kx 450f for motocross and that thing was a beast. definetly not for beginner riders

Awsome man congrats

I’ve been using the peak stuff from Ross and it’s good but a little heavier than mnt house. still wish mnt house wouldn’t have ruined the pro packs, I’m solo a lot and don’t need 2.5 servings. Makes no sense unless they weren’t selling. But they were always sold out so really makes no sense.

Nice work Andrew. Way to get involved.

Reloading for longrange neck size or full size?
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to Crazymonkey's topic in Long Range Shooting
There are a lot of options and theory’s in this realm but mostly the name of the game is neck tension. On top of this decision I see a lot of guys using force gages on their seating set up to ensure neck tension. I was doing this by gaging neck finish diameter with pins down to .0001 size range. A reamer was then used to ensure fit. A force gage is much better and can help with SD on velocity. -
Reloading for longrange neck size or full size?

Both for me but mostly full length and anneal every other load. -
Just my opinion but I bought a red cliff and it sucks in the wind. I like the room but if it’s windy it catches it if it’s not oriented just right. Tipi is much better but not as much room.

Still managing a decent routine, ramped up hard on weight hauling. Carry 45 lbs up into the white tanks 4 or 5 days a week in the heat. Push ups and pull ups every day. Hitting the big hills next week for some bear and elk scouting which should see about 25 plus miles backpacking. Good luck all hitting the OTC hunts

2021-22 governor's bear tag
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to 218buck's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
The interpretation is profit, so if I spent a grand in the process of finding a really good bear then it’s a wash. I’ll be in bears next week also but I’ll have my bow so hard to say ide give up an opportunity, can you use rifle for that tag??? -

Need kitchen cabinet/counters remodel suggestions/advice
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to Viper's topic in Classified Ads
Your kind of screwed on saving any money with these guys all being slammed. No way your going to find a deal unless its a freind. For me the best idea would be to order custom cabinets and DIY that part and hire out the granite..option 3 I wanted to add cabinets to our existing ones and had to get they guy that built my house to get me a quote, the cabinet maker wouldnt even talk to a non contractor. Thats what you get with custom I guess unless you order them yourself. We are also looking to do granite and for sure hiring that out but I am going to keep my old granite and put it out on patio for outdoor kitchen -

Whats In A Name
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to GameHauler's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Cool old thread, before my time on here. I don’t remember thinking up the name, I have and live Mules and started out backpack hunting so put the two together and Mulepackhunter. Most people think it’s due to the pack of Mules but it’s actually my two favorite types. Runnin Mules in and runnin backpacks in. Regardless you won’t see me near the road much. -
Ya man, not sure why but I love cheese and crackers. Charcuterie is my favorite but quick cheese and cracker is a craving with spicy brown mustard.

Backsplash install recommendations North Tucson/Marana

It is a lot of work for sure but it’s not really technical. The layout is the toughest part but you can measure and draw in the walls all you want. Next toughest part is grouting but again nothing too bad. I used to do tile for a living so I’m bias. A trick I used for layout and look is double stick tape to put tile up and see how it lays out and looks. -
Ya bow hunting in August is how I find them. I tend to walk more than hunt so I run across them often.

Lately I’ve been doing the Rogan method. Reverse sear small roast and roast some jalepenos on grill and pour a tall beer. Super simple and low calorie

All time great is simple burger patty but use cream cheese for you mayo and lay several while roasted hatch green chili on top and lots of cheese.
