I just see a lot and I mean a lot of guys using the vortex that have used or could use the swaro and they say yes the swaro is better but not the money better and certainly not finding more game better by more than a small small percent.
-
You think those are worth another grand?
-
Kowa is more than I want to spend.
-
Vortex also has the 30 fixed wide and I planned to buy it. Why would you sell the leupold? Did you switch

Made a trip to the lake with a couple of pros. Here's some catfish and striper fish taco action along with some fresh from the garden squash fries bar style and I made the batter with fresh duck eggs. Pics to follow.

Dented brass on resize.
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Dented case will be fine, might effect load data slightly. Yes too much lube, i just roll them on lube pad and then wipe them with my fingers to be sure they are not over lubed. Just takes a feel over time. -
Nice job, i saw a ton as well but i forgot my guide book so i didnt risk picking any last trip, i put my book in my pack when i got home so i am ready for next trip up. I was above the rim and saw about 4 veriaties.

Lake Mead Striper trips: July 11 and July 12 2015
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to Capt. Don Martin's topic in Fishing
Hey Mike that's my buddy from work I told you was up fishing with don. They kicked our butts and did it in half the time. -
I think from bloody basin is a long rough road but better than dugas and I agree much better mule deer country. I have seen a mix up near dugas. I put in for 21 as well mule deer but will be way south if drawn.
-
What's the other way? Bloddy basin?
-
dugas is 1st gear low crawling for alot of it. I wont even drive a 3/4 ton in there with no trailer. You can get in a ways with trailer then you will have to ride from there 6 or 7 miles before you hit wilderness. If it rains 2 drops you will be slimed out as well. Dont be discouraged just be prepared. I ran into a game warden my first year hunting and I was just criuzing roads getting to know the country, I stopped and shot it for a bit with this guy and he mentioned pine mountain. He said drive in on dugas until im so pissed off i cant take it anymore then park the truck and walk 4 miles to the hunting area. LOL loved that discription.
