Does that 209 come in pellets? It was suggested by many and I am leaning that way just would rather go pellets for ease of use. -

I call for this podcast to get the officer and holden each on separate to hear both sides. Seems the public never gets to hear the real story. -

Auction Elk Hunt, Units 3C, 1 and 23 North Interview with Jed Larson

The reason all charges were dropped was because he legally took the game but missed tagging one and officers attacked real quick. Not defending him missing the tag and its possible in tensions were bad just I know I made the same mistake when caught up in the moment. I had my kids with me and when I realized it I tagged the animal. Dude was intense for sure i would love to see him on again and cover some of this material and get to know him more. Maybe with a little more direction. I know a guy just like this who is so intense most people avoid him but I see through it and have had good conversations. -

I may try some go x. I have a bunch for making blanks for mounted shooting. Would rather shoot pellets if it works. I have load data from previous owner so should be good. Thanks for the heads up. -

So 4 guys for 300.00? Or 300. Each? -
Come on now, no need to call me entitled. If you actually knew me you'd know how silly that notion is. Like I said, no intention to just go "do what I want". I'll do my research and if it's wrong, I'll gladly leave them at home and still hike back into the wilderness with a smile on my face to hunt. You claimed to know the rules well you missed this and continued to try to put your spin on the rules as stated. Well I read it this way. I believe is your argument. Anyway I just don't want to see wild areas taken over by the masses. Its nice and quiet and beautiful. Just want it to stay that way. The main advertisers on wilderness searches are usually leave no trace adds. If we read into this which I have it is very clear how to treat the land. I will admit the rules are scattered but I wasn't sure so I called more than 1 agency and they all answered no game cams. I was looking into outfitting and this was a revenue source so I asked what I could and could not do while working in wilderness areas.

I have 200 grn sabot 50 cal right now. This will be my first ever shot taken with a muzzy so we will see how it shoots -
Leave no trace. Means pack it in pack it out. Call fs office and they will tell the same. These areas are supposed to be where those who are able and want to work hard can go and enjoy gods creation without seeing junk people strapped to a tree. Seems like common sense to me but I guess entitle your self and do what you want.

Just bullets and powder. Not much sellection at cabelas. Need 45 grn triple 7 whites -
that's hilarious! This is all fun and games as long as everyone remembers who the real enemy is. The anti hunting liberals love to see hunters fight amongst themselves and they love to point out how many hunters bend the laws for their benefit, further demonizing us. I'm hearing this discussion a lot in the hunting community. Big push from conservation groups for hunters to support each other even if they don't agree with what other hunters do or say. I notice game and fish eating up billboards as well.

oh no the cwt police are gonna school you on wilderness areas and trail cams now. Oh you got that right, if you don't know the rules in wilderness areas don't go in them. No cameras allowed. GPS coordinates of any cams in wilderness will be sent to fs and they will be confiscated. That's what I've been told anyway by the wilderness police

I went with the 48 souly based on field of view. I don't carry binos most times backpacking so since the 48 has much better fov I gave up the 12x on power
