First suggestion only do one post for info. -
Cheap blm map and google earth is all you need. Keep a copy of the unit boundry with you as well. I would suggest as far north as you can get. All the deer south in the unit caught fire today

Same thing is coming in heber, tons of horses up there from the rez. Don't forget the burros, going crazy and 25 percent herd increase every year

Portable/Compact Tire Compressor advice

Those air down valves are way cool. My buddy has them for his jeep. He uses an 85.00 dollar jump box with air and its 30 minutes and 2 beers to fill 4 tires to 32 lbs -
His wires are crossed but he does weld

Montini's dripping pie hole
MULEPACKHUNTER replied to rugerman's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
That's possible but more than that the animals will be no more. Hunters dollars and tourism ie photo safaris keep the animals alive. Ounce those animals are not bringing in cash to conserve and manage them they will have zero friends to protect them -

Please clarify, is this your belief that these guys hunting in Africa don't have a place in the hunting community? Or is this just copy and paste from the media? -
Nice job and congrats

That's cool. I saw a video of a young guy who was watching a monster for 5 years until he drew a tag. He had him dead durring archery but he had broken off a lot of horn so he passed but drew a rifle tag the next year. It was cool to see they had footage every year and dropped sheds and everything.

I have been to a bunch of listed catchments and all that were on the hbimap were exactly as marked on the map within feet. Most were working but ya maintenance is going to be a problem. I agree with the above, it all about natural water that exists. Also even when a unit gets a lot of rain it may not have holding areas. I get showers like crazy in my unit but there barely standing water for more than a day. Those concrete drinkers really work well. What do you guys and girls think is the best tanks you've seen? Seems like the concrete hold up best
