I thought i was original, I did this a while back but the target was a 2 mile hike away from the roads. I gave GPS to a hilltop and no other info. The target was white so not to bad to find and it was 885 yards. My neighbor smacked it on his 2nd shot and his buddy on his 3rd. Then they put 40 rounds on it. It was such a hike they haven't been back, lol. I moved the target past 1000 now and didn't tell them so I'm waiting for a phone call. They said it was really an eye opener over their usual set up for long range.

Sweet man have fun -
Who's the guy with the nice camp? He's going to bail soon , he keeps mentioning his women, that's the beginning of the end. First big storm his camp is going to be a mess. Looks like it might be a long ride this time. The guy that did the friction fire is bad dude, that would be so hard there. I've done it with 2 guys and it took hours

Offer to take them on a hunt, how can you comment or have an opinion of anything if you have not experienced it? For non or anti hunters to have an opinion is like me not eating a meal at a restaurant but damming a dish saying no one should eat it it's bad. I took a greenie non hunting female out on a bow hunt and passed on a small fork who stood still for a spear throw at 30 yrds and we hiked and camped off our backs for 2 days and it completely changed her opinion. My mom is a vegan and when she sees my films and photos and hears my stories she is just as excited as me, she would rather I don't kill but she would be happy as heck for me if I did. Bottom line is the uninformed have no idea why there are any deer or elk at all, no idea that without hunters money and way of life there would be none, no fish, less birds, less habitat to hike or photograph, the list goes on and on.

Let's talk proposition 123 In an effort to increase k-12 spending our "for" argument individuals, who by the way are almost all either in government or are sponsored by large money groups who will be getting said money's, we now have prop 123 and commercials throwing kids and school at us in every sentence. Nice try guys, the bottom line here is Arizona's own treasurer mr dewit rejected the proposal as bad financial policy but was ignored. That's like your bank telling you you can't afford it and you buy anyway. So this proposal will be spending principle off of the state land trust fund which the fund is not designed for. The moneys will also be rolled into the general fund which does nothing to see its spent on schools. They are projecting earnings on said fund out to 2025 and beyond and gambling on where the fund will be by then and figuring it will have such a gain why not spend the money now! OK so I figure my investments will gain 40% over the next 20 years so why not buy a new truck and house now, makes sense to me! OK that's my no one special, life long as resident and concerned voter simplification of ole 123. Please vote no so future generations are not having their funding taken from them before they even get to school age. Sincerely , Michael Hughes az native

It's a good thing, it tells you which outfitters not to use I,e, the ones who contact you. The good ones don't have to chase ambulances.

Ya I think we were loading the horses trailer getting ready to come look for you when we heard you made it out. Funny that only happened to me one time but it was the same dam spot. Lol -

I am sitting at 43 lbs with water food for 5 days. Add about 2 lbs per day for food each extra day. Water in az is always the key. We've had to go 5 miles from camp to haul water a few times. That sucked. -

I spend most of my hunting time way off roads with camp on my back or on my animals. I like hunting from a nice base camp as well but I will take a backpack trip more often. You can go bow hunt from a backpack for 4 plus nights very easily. Don't let all the gear heads and pro hunters fool you. Yes the gear is better and nice but I spent like 500 bucks total and went from zero bow or gear and backpacked for 4 days for my very first bow hunt. I was not uncomfortable and had a blast and was hooked. I spent maybe 15 days out the next year and more the year after that. It's alot of fun and it hurts and it sucks and then you are wishing it wasn't time to go. If you want to see a full set up for a local diy average dude let me know. None of my gear is on TV or podcasts but I can get in anywhere they can. -
I agree education spending is important but you know it's not funding it's the management. How can my property taxes in a rural area go up by 600.00 a year in 1 fiscal year and they don't have money? I pay state parks all the time and I have no problem paying for state land permit. If they made it easy to buy passes for forest, state, and private I would happily pay but it's a pain to get passes so people , myself included just skip it most of the time. I've never seen it enforced either. Keep it simple, if there's a shortfall on spending per student then increase it and raise tax. But show me how your not wasting money elsewhere before you raise tax
