Thanks for the info, I've never hunted big game in AZ just small and at one time as a student with a collection permit.Have hunted in CO & ID.I was informed you're the expert on san carlos wildlife. How large is the elk herd and how difficult is it to locate the elk in the hilltop area?

Can one get assistance in getting a downed elk out? Where are there game processing facilities?
