Well, it got better but that day was a phenom. We got on bulls each day but no love for calls, just letting us know they were there at the bottom of the canyon or moving fast in the AM. Only found one herd with active satellites, which was the day it turned on. Rain on Monday did not help any. I have been out in the woods in rut every year since 2012 and this was by far the slowest rut I have seen. After trying to sneak in on a few bulls yesterday, my son was getting stressed about school and took a smaller bull. He is a great shot and shot a bull with two cows at 75 yards. The bull went about 100yards from the shot. On such a tough hunt I told him not to be upset with the size, be thankful for the opportunity. Two archery bulls by 16 years old, proud of him. Now he will focus on his 12AW late tag and then my other son’s late 23 tag. Still got a lot of memories to make this season!

Like a light switch today. Bugles all day, chasing them in the morning and could hear bugles from the wallow all day. Nice they are gong in their own with a few days left.

I am in the elk woods every year and have been successful either hunting or helping in 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23. This is the slowest rut O have ever hunted. Over half the days no bugles and others very limited and far. Had one close encounter with some back and forth. Areas that are historically very active are near silent. your days left for my son, hopefully he gets a shot.

The bulls are looking great. Been out quite a bit. I am more than happy my son has the late bull tag this year. Headed out again next weekend and will be there for deer as well.

If you are planning on 21 it will be hot and watch for snakes. There are opportunities there, but it will require some work and early mornings to get the some of the better spots. You will also need to know what spots have water, so it will be some scouting or just some luck if you roll up.

I just bought mine from Erick Anderson on Facebook. It is the size and description you listed, hook shackles, and it towed great last weekend. It was $3475 OTD.

We were there as well for the tournament but caught most on action baits.

The fishing has been good but there have been a lot of tournaments. We caught 70 in two days last week and did well in the tournament. Fishing slowed down a lot the second day when the weather rolled in.

I have one and love it. I have not had any issues with the eye relief. We have it on an Sig Cross and my daughter can shoot it and I can as well with the stock out. The glass is exceptionally clear. My older at son was shooting it out to 700 and couldn’t believe how much better it was than our other scopes. Best investment I have made to help make an accurate rifle.

It is worth it. We got one this year and it changed the communication a lot for the better and more comfortable for my daughter to shoot. We won’t go back to shooting without one.

We were blessed this year after full blanks on the draw last year. Early 5a archery for one son and 23 late rifle for the other. What a blessing!!

Great work. We saw about 60 antelope this last weekend out there. A few decent bucks and one better than average. Odds are low again this year, but at least there are some bucks running around!

I had this version for six years, it is a great pack. I just bought the new version and it carries a lot different, along with no frame. It also has meat compartment. Both great bags, just a little different.

This is amazing for the kids. My son won second place last year and he still talks about it all the time. He loves the rifle and used the binoculars and case this year helping on an elk hunt. The time and items donated really support the future of hunting!!

They will be there, they always are. Last year I helped a buddy and we killed on the 30th. I have had the tag a few times and it is always best the last week. We will be up there the 28-4th archery hunting.
