The year is finally here where I am looking for a second set of hunts. Hopefully my boy can get lucky enough to pick up a late tag in the first few years.
-
I had the vultures for a few years and they are good glass for the money. There was nothing that would stop me from buying another pair, which I will probably do for my son.
-
I sent mine in Saturday. Hopefully they post tomorrow.
-
There are pigs all over the unit. Just takes some time behind the glass to find them. We hunt from Pleasant all the way to Bumble Bee with pigs in each area, just have to be patient.
-
I too use Dawn dish soap. It works well to get the grease out.
-
I use paper towel and wet it with peroxide. Wrap it tight to the bases and the rest of the skull. Paper towels should be dripping wet. Then plastic wrap the skull and leave it for a few days. Make sure it is tight. Should be wet still when you unwrap it. Few more days in the sun and it will be white with no antler bleach.

That is a smoking deal.

This thing has put some animals down. Proven pig and elk slayer.

This is a great pack. Started using it this year. The scabbard tucks away and I put my tripod and chair in there. Lots of pockets and easy to add accessories. Great deal.
-
Yep. I was thinking about it this week and made me crack up. Just what I needed during stressful times.

Some of the best times of my life on these hunts and wouldnt know anything about hunting without the trips with these two. I owed you a taxidermy bill anyway! This was an awesome trip and my son was still talking about it today. Just a stud buck. Oh, and no he does not chew. Just imagine we were trying to keep the odor down!

Up here now waiting for a buddy to get up here. Going out with my boy tomorrow to find some good candidates. Luckily my buddy doesnt mind if my son tags along. A few more years and he will be up to bat.

Team elk bag works great. Built in scabbard. I use the scabbard for my sporting scope and chair. Lots of pockets and it has a meat shelf. It is also really comfortable with good ventilation to prevent sweating.

My buddy killed a nice bull on day four. It was a fun hunt but too short.

How many days are you archery elk hunting for??

I will be there 15, but just to help. -
I am only helping and I am counting the sleeps. 13 hours on the water hole for deer will be long waiting to hear the screams.
-
We use Avenza. Works good but limited detail unless you but the Flatline maps.
-
I will take it if Couesdan doesn't. Perfect starter gun for my son.

Sold. Thanks Jazz. Good luck on the hunts.

After two good seasons I have made the jump to Swaros, so it is time to sell my 15X56 Vortex Vulture. These have always been kept in the case and never dropped. I also have a Vortex doubler with the sale to see the bucks out there just a little further. Sorry about the sideways photos. Asking $450 for both or $380 for the binoculars and $100 for the doubler.

Thanks Greyghost. I do have them still with one person interested.

Looked at this pack but didn't like the rifle set up. Ended up going with the Team Elk. Scabbard holds tripod and chair when there is no rifle around.
