  1. The best way to get to this parcel on Westwood Ranch is up through Ashfork, not the Crookton entrance. Double A Ranch Road to F.R. 142 into the ranch. From where F.R. 142 enters Westwood Ranch, it's about 3 miles to my parcel, total about 18 miles NW of Ashfork. This parcel is SW of Round mountain. I can send you a map of the ranch if you are interested.
  2. Forty beautiful, wooded acres in Coconino county just west of the Kaibab Natl. Forest, north of Ashfork, AZ in West Wood Ranches. Easy access by forest service roads. Owner's association maintains roads on south & west sides of the parcel. West side of acreage is bordered by state land. Herds of elk and deer roam this area as well as much other wildlife. Views of Bill Williams Mountain & the San Francisco Peaks from the top of bluff on the property. Wonderful place for a cabin! At less than $800 an acre - it's a steal. Call 623-640-6150 or email kaelucas@ymail.com.
  3. Thanks.... it was my dream to have a cabin there someday ~ but I can't afford to buy my ex-husband out.

  5. The parcel is about 30 or so minutes northwest of Ashfork. You sound familiar with the area - you take seven ranch road north out of Ashfork and it turns into forest road 142; which will take you right into Westwood ranches shortly after you cross under the BNSF. Once you are on the ranch, its about 10 minutes to my parcel. Mount Floyd & Round Mountain are part of the Westwood Ranch - It is beautiful beyond words.... I so love this area - but have no choice in the matter of selling the property. Thank you for the water info - much appreciated; I didn't know. Have only camped up there a few times. Have seen unbelievable amount of elk up there !
  6. Correction to information about utility access : I doubled checked my road maps of Westwood Ranch and the overhead lines that run along the BNSF are only 1/2 a mile away. I was told that this could be accessed to bring electric to the property; but I have never investigated that possibility. This parcel is part of what was the Diamond Seven Ranch; which was sold sometime in the 1990's and parceled off. I believe the ranch is about 16,000 acres in it's entirety and owners have access to all association maintained roads on the ranch - that translates to days & days of quad ridin' with seeing very few other humans!
  7. Overhead lines run along the BNSF rail line 1 mile south of the parcel. I do not have any information about the water table in that area. The taxes for 2012 were $265 and the annual road maintenance fee for 2012 was $165.
