I think having a portable press of some kind is a good investment. Never know when you may need it. It could save a day or two of hunting should something go wrong when finding a shop is not feasable. I use this one : RAM Ratchet Lok Bow Press, Portable. Here is a link to it. http://www.eders.com/products/ram-ratchet-lok-bow-press.html The Bowmaster as mentioned above also works well. Brian

I've tagged some of these this year. :-) lol I'd go for a gardening forum. My garden gets bigger and bigger every year. I'm tired of eating crook necks and zucchini already lol. Brian

Magnum primers in a standard cartridge?
standman replied to standman's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Thanks on the offer. I have a lot of regular primers. I just have these from a 7mm mag my dad used to have and they are just sitting there. Just trying to find a use for them. Maybe I will try them starting from a min load and see how they work. Or maybe find someone who will trade for some non magnum primers. Brian -

Yes it is a 3x3. When I first got the pic a couple years ago I had to zoom in on it to confirm. Also later other pics confirmed it was a 3x3. It is a tricky pic if you don't look closely. Brian

My dad and I went bass and walleye fishing up here in the White Mountains this morning. We ended up catching 13 walleye, 8 bass and 2 catfish. It was a fun morning for as hot as it was. The largest five walleyes were between 3 and 4.5 lbs. Here are a few pics. A lot of the walleyes were released for another day. Brian
