I find it funny that trophy rock is illegal. Its as natural as salt gets, straight from the salt mine. It used to be just sold by feed stores. We used to get it by the 1500 lb bags from the feed stores for .05-.07 cents a lb. But $$$ were seen by the hunting industry, and rights to the salt is now"Trophy Rock". Put a new sticker on it for deer hunting use and now it's illegal. Brian

I think they should go back to just mailing tags out and finding out your results that way. I think some people's heads would explode if they had to wait that long. Brian

Azgfd getting info on declined cards?!
standman replied to mountaingoat08's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
From the regs Once the draw takes place, and IF you are successfully drawn, the Department will charge the credit or debit card you have on fle for the permit fee. If payment fails, the Department will make three attempts within two business days to contact you and notify you that your payment has been declined. You will then be afforded a means of providing alter- native payment within a specifed timeframe. If the Department has not received an alternate payment at the end of that specifed timeframe, applicants will be rejected. No exceptions will be made for individuals who do not respond to the Departments attempts to contact them. Deadline for updating credit or debit card information online is 11:59 p.m. (MST) Sunday, July 6, 2014 -
I have two converts. I have had nothing but problems with them. Battery life last maybe two weeks at most. Dark and over exposed pics. Finally had to quit using them. Still like my old D cell moultries and any new ones are Bushnell. Brian

Thanks for the info. Pertaining to the trappers ed. class, does a person need to preregister and what does it cost? Think my nephew and I will come and take the class there instead of waiting till Sept. for the class here in the White Mts. Thanks. Brian

Here is the latest. UPDATED 7/1/14 9:44 A.M. - Chief Deputy Brannon Eagar of the Apache county Sheriff's office updated the Board of Supervisors on the San Juan Fire statistics during their meeting this morning. The San Juan Fire is now at 6,796 acres and still at 5 percent containment. They have full suppression strategies in place and expect containment at 7,000 acres. There are still 96 structures in danger and 25 people are still evacuated at this time. They are expecting dry lighting and down draft winds in the next few days from the expected thunder storms and the county is preparing a plan for potential flooding in the Vernon area when the rains start.

Correct still no mandatory evac orders. Interesting thing, Danny White's ( former Dallas Cowboy Qb ) place burned up in the Rodeo fire. He built a new place out above Vernon. Have friends out there helping him pack up. Talk about bad luck. Brian

Yeah heck of a birthday present. We can see flames coming up over different ridges from the fire department. Not looking good. Brian

Plymouth Breeze  :D

I bought one of those packs last year at a yard sale for $5 . Not a bad pack. Brian

Really cool picture! Thanks for sharing. I was thinking the same thing, but if I drew another goulds tag I might be banned from the site or assassinated by Big Tub. Brian

Good price on the cages. Suprised they have lasted this long. Bought a set back in March. Should have waited lol. Building my nephew and I a mess of them for this year. Good luck on the sale. Brian
