I thought matbe that first pic was taken off of Desertbull's new expiremental foodplot he was talkin about the other day -
For 250 you could get a scoutguard sg550 and a lock box. All you would need is a 17 dollar python lock, and you would have a tough rig to rip off. i got 871 pics of my last set of 8 AA's

The one on Greenfield and mckellips had 3 or 4. they were the VGA .3mp w/ the little flash so i didn't pick any up. I did see a white f-350 4 door w black fender flares w/ a cw.com sticker, maybe he cleaned them out after i left.

Thanks for the heads up. I've got a couple of 1.3's WV's they have worked out great for me. I Live in NE mesa so I may be able to check around tomorrow and see if the ones around here have any. That depends on when my wingman gets off work, gotto go look for bears.

Well thanks for the info. My dad has a 25-06 he wants me to to load up some stuff for. Seems like every time i find him a money load for one caliber he's got somethin else he wants to get shootin again. Looks like im on the right track, I've got some 4350 and some 110 A-bonds

My vote is for leica. The lrf or crf. Seems to me like those work more consistantly than the geovids. The geovids are great when they are working good. They rarely want to work well for me at long ranges. I have never used a swaro. for small pocket sized i have an old nikon 600 i like

I always liked the black and white silhouette logo on the bottom left. I'm another fan of "coueswhitetail.com" down the sleaves, even for a few extra bucks. I have a couple shirts from "bassaholics" with screen printing on the sleeves, they are pretty cool looking.

Checked the cam no pictures

That sux. I think I am more worried about someone finding my spot that stealing my camera. I can manage to lose a hundred bucks. I would hate to have some idiot find my spot and tell his friends about a honeyhole i have hundreds of dollars of gas and tons of time into. When i see a salt or cam I turn around and find a new spot. I found some pretty sweet spots that i just leave alone. 18 different bucks is alot. I'm sure you had your time put in there. -
Thats right, mail only as I know it. They wont open envelopes or accept them if they arrive before the date posted. Ive always done the same as coues7, drop it off at the post office friday after pick-up. Any body know if there has been leftover leftovers in recent years. It would be interesting to see the leftover stats from a few years back up till the coming years, to see what all this oppurtunity has done

Time for a name change!
youngbuck replied to azcouesandelk's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Id stay with young somethin, maybe I am just partial. im not too young any more but i am still younger than most guys with the coues bug. Besides young is just a translation for "walks many miles fast" -
As i understand it first and second choices are in the "first round" fallowed by third and fourth. whick means that they look at your first and second choices at the same time. This is how is was explanied to me. With the drawing process anything is possible. I know people who drew rifle bull hunts 4th choice, dec whitey tags third and so on. One guy on here drew his 2nd choice pig tag and there were left over tags for his first choice. I think most of the oddities are caused by checks bouncing and other payment issues but who knows.

After Coues Sniper was askin about cameras, i decided i needed some more. Anybody try the scoutguard. Chasinggame.com gave it a pretty good review; http://www.chasingame.com/reviews_scoutguard.htm I was wondering how they were before I was the $200 guinea pig. Youtube has a bunch of clips from one too.

Trail Cam Help
youngbuck replied to CouesSlayer's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Im a fan of the wildviews aswell. I heard cabelas runs that 2.0 twin pack on sale from time to time for just over 100 bucks. I have a few of the 1.3 and a 4mp. Check out chasingame.com for reviews and other info, they do a pretty good job. I think they gave that timber eye a pretty rough review. I found interstate batteries last longest for me in my wild views. I made the mistake of buying energizers last time. They lasted 6 days. i checked the cam on day 10, lucky i did though. The interstates last a month. -

well i bit the bullet. Sounds like they were have a few issues but have since weeded them out. I have one on its way. Ill prolly test it out all day in the house to take pics of the dog on friday and hang it sat. I'll keep you guys posted on how it turns out. -
Where at in NE mesa. ill have to keep an eye out. I'm about as NE as you get. All I see are gambells but the ones by my house are pumpin them out this year. I saw a bunch of 'em no bigger than a quarter just the other day. They were litterally shorter than mommies legs

I wonder if it is just a coincidence that all three shot this year were alpha females. Seems kinda odd.

This is the one that I use. It has worked flawlessley so far. Its pretty cheap too. I have to use the 12 volt, but most are 6 I think. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...=4887&Nty=1 -

I'll get some of mine up tonight, who had the antelope and coues that were hangin out together. That was a good one. All good ones so far. I like the bear w/ little cubs, the turkey and coues. The SLAP is gonna be tough to beat though. -
Right now i'm using a 300 rum w/ the TDS zeroed at 300. One of these days I'll put that scope on somethin else and maybe get something with some turrets from Kenton Industries. All may other stuff is standard reticle. Oh wait i Have a 17hmr w/ turrets, that thing is something else.

Trail Cams
youngbuck replied to Coues Sniper's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
I have had good luck with wildview cams. They are inexpensive and work well. The only down side is their trigger speed. They are probably not the best choice for setting up on a trail.
