I try and make it a point to only shoot my MB rifles early in the am or on a weekday. (helps that i used to live about 3 minutes from usery)When I was a kid thats what i hated more than anything, was MB guns. I do get a kick outa the range commandos though. I always get a laugh or two.

well thats too bad. You did get a pretty good laugh outa me with the "ludacris speed". I just watched again Space Balls last week

I'm using a custom1enterprises.com lock box with a python cable lock to lock mine up. I also have a regular tiedown strap with small hooks instead of the larger ones to attach the box to the tree. So far it has wirked well for me.

Congrats, thats one heck of a deer and a lion is just icing on the cake

I would be all for it. It would be another hunt i could go on. I love taking my grandpa out, He has a pic too in this thread with his bull. It took him a long time to draw and elk tag. I like taking him out.

there is something in the trees behind the water, almost looks like bones, in the first pic

Sportsmans warehouse has alot more reloading stuff than BPS and Cabelas. Better prices too. Every once in a while they will be outa something. For a while it was 180gr .30 accubonds, another time it was Varget, and another time for a while it was primers. I order abunch of my reloading stuff off of www.midsouthshooterssupply.com. Its not the best designed website in the world but they have a ton of stuff for great prices.

lot a stuff has been taken w/ 100gr core-lokt outa a 243. I shot a few carp, an elk, and seen plenty of whitetails taken too. Carp were 100-300 yards, elk was 100 and whitetails out to 300. Shot a few stink pigs with it too when i was younger on youth hunts, furthest was around 350 i think. I would want somethin with a little more wallop and a better bullet to buck the wind if i was shootin past 350

Batteries last a while if it doesnt get left on. I keep mine in a pocket with all kinds of stuff and it gets turned on sometimes. Mine is a few years old and didnt do it untill the switch got real worked in

the cheapest one from walmart is actually pretty good. it is a green energizer brand with 2 white LED's and one red. In all honesty it alot brighter than alot of fancy ones. I have people askin me who makes it. they dont believe me when i say the 8 dollar wal mart one. Only downside is it takes 2 AAA, all my other stuff i try and keep AA's like radios and normal flashlight. Best thing about it is if i drop it somewhere im only out 8 bucks

If you have the muzzle break might as well shoot the heavier bullets. i shoot 180s out of my RUM. it has the case capicity for pushin the heavier bullets w/ plenty of velocity. sciroccos have a very high BC as do bergers, i went with an accubond. id love to try some bergers but right now i am having great results with the accubond and have no need to work up another load. I dont think there is any advantage to lighter bullets in this cartrige. plenty of advantages w/ bigger bullets on down side is recoil, but you have the MB -
Scoutguard trail cams

chasing game found that the sensor and the lense were a little bit off. i havenet ever had a problem with it or ever even noticed. THey talk about it in the SG550 review a little bit though. it probaby is more noticeable with smaller animals. This camera has a fast trigger speed compared to most of the others, not near as good as most of the homebrews though. i guess i dont reallt know why your are getting so many "empty" triggers. the only reason for north is the sun, if most are at night it shouldn't matter -

I've never had to adjust my sensitivity on my SG. Most impportant thing is placement i think. One way to test it out is set it in the kitchen or living room. I would think birds would be hard to consistantly get decent pictures. If it is "hanging from a tree" it may be moving a little in the breeze. I dont know how it is attached though. Also try facing it in a north direction. Not sure bout the vids slipin in there -
This should scare you to death
youngbuck replied to EBB's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I watched it all as well, definately worth the half hour. I can be very tollerant of others and their religions as long as it doesnt cause problems for others. I cant stand people pushing their views on others. This is an entire different level of their way or no way at all. Im gonna quit typing and read about hunting and let my blood preasure come down some -

+1 on Del's stuff.I have some of his molds and they are second to none. I only have 5 inch senko though. lots of good info on Tackle Underground too. I havent poured in a while as i dont fish that much anymore. The Reaction inovations big unit is big but its basicly a giant U-tail. zoom makes a similar one called the ole monster too. Might wanna look at anglersupply.com, ive seen some unique stuff there. Also look at some salt water stuff too -
How to Squirrel Hunt?
youngbuck replied to bowsniper's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I like the rembrant style but the dog is a buddy. Thats the most fun for me, is trying to run and tree the squirell, then when its time for a shot you have to calm down. In all honesty, this can be some of the most fun hunting. i laugh so hard when we do it like this. It is hilarious to watch grown men running down a squirell. -

I have narrow feet and can't wear danners, I would if i could. I wear the merrells, the high top gore tex ones. They dont last very long but they are the most comfy boots i've ever put on. They are also really quiet. I dont like tall stiff boots, i feel like im wearing stilts. THese give me enough support wothout annoying me

I wish this guy would just flipped me off or mooned me or something. These are back to back photos. I had my delay set to 11 seconds so he had to have a partner, and must have been fast. I'm not so T'd off about the 6 dollar block as i am with the pain in the butt it is to pack 2 blocks at a time in.

I know of prolly 5 ppl w/ the geovids, 10's and 15's all have needed to be sent back for range finder fixes. My old mans pair hasn't been sent in yet but needs to be. THese were all bought a few years ago so they may have the bugs worked out. Great glass, i think i prefer em to the swaros for my eyes. They take a while to get used to for righties who archery hunt, the button is on the wrong side for one hand operation, but i can reach over the top and get to it w/ my right hand, it helps my eyes are close together cuz i need to squeeze em together. the reticle is in the right eye, might be a pain for a left eye dominant
