I have to offset the rings that hold on the covers so they will be close enough for me. i cant have the two "cover rings" touching, i offset them so they miss eachother, it gets me another 1/8" or so

Never owned a weatherby rifle, but the rifle I use now on everything bigger than a coyote is a 700 SPS. I could afford it when i was 19 and it turned out to be a shooter. Nothin wrong w/ shooting a large caliber at smaller game, you just have to choose your bullet carefully. 270wsm is a great catridge IMO, but i like .30 bullets better

Wow 2 coues hunting shows on!
youngbuck replied to Jeremy350's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Chris Denham shoots a 120 6/8 on the christensen arms, didnt see backland yet. Fred Eichler shot a nice buck this past early archery season w/ help from randy @ AHQ, thats a pretty good show. I liked it cuz it stormed on him real bad. Just like it did me in the tree stand but i didnt shoot a 100"ish buck -
Well your good friend does some great work from the pic! congrats

It will be a winner, wish it was that laser system in the geovids.

Ive spent alot of time behind both. If you havent spent alot of time behind swaros you wont know the difference. There is a difference to me. I also think the fit and finish is better on the swaros. If i had to buy a pair id go vortex. If i was given a pair I'd choose swaros.

I believe 300 was talkin camcorders. On my still camera wish list is the cannon sx210IS. They arent shipping them yet but they look promising, and i'm familiar w/ their menu format. My old cannon bit the dust dec WT hunting

A statement on archery elk opening dates from the ABA
youngbuck replied to AZMSK's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Good to hear, this past year elk hunt fell to early. Its hard to guess statewide when what happens but ive never started an archery elk hunt with the rut in full swing opening morning -
Maybe its a moisture thing. Ive seen cattle and deer eat cholla, different places and different times of year. Maybe they only do it when its full of water Still i dont know why they would, there should be water all over now

The cameras Amanda sells are great. I have one of their predecessors. Id suggest getting a wildview or two in adition to a better camera (the one amanda sells). I use my less expensive cameras in new spots or easily acessed spots. Its a great way to learn how to use them. They are generally easy to program. If you can learn to get good pics w/ a wildview, using a better cam will be easy and it will take great pics

As i understand it, you need to get ahold of the WM for the unit it is in. There is someone named Jeff who has a lot to do w/ the program but you need to get ahold of the WM and let them know what catchment, or they may suggest one for you.

Are you guys using dogs or just shining em? Maybe one of these days ill give it a try. I still want a big racoon mount, i guess i really like smaller game mounts.

I tried doin this but couldnt get the WM to call me back I got a hold of, i believe his name was Jeff H, and he told me to call the WM. It was hunting season but maybe ill try again this summer when i have a little more time.

2200 Cu inches, but i think they are a touch larger. I have one of the older ones, great packs

I dont have a seperate long range laser i use the geovids, I think something quick you could snap on to your 15's or what ever else your looking at and remove quick too. It wouldnt have to be the most stable thing ever built, youl only use it for 2 seconds anyways. I have in the past rested my laser on my 15's before i had the geovids. Maybe just a flat horzintol surface mounted abover your glassing optics w/ some industrial velcro "the kind that lasts"

I normally make it one day, with some buddies. I bet you could sell a bunch of tshirts and caps and probably those havalon knives if you showed em. Everyone who sees or uses em asks where to get em.
