eh 2-3 weeks. Sometimes i go longer but only if i know my batteries can last. New spots are less productive than honey holes and batteries last longer. I have a few places I get 2k pics in a week or less. Elk will run through the batteries quick.

I dont know what 70 you have but this worked when i did mine http://www.varminthunters.com/tech/win70trigger.html http://www.snipercountry.com/Articles/Adju...gWinTrigger.asp if you want a gunsmith i'd recomend accuracy speaks (rio salado) and kodiak precision (power and mcdowell) his website is down right now, dont know why

depends on who you ask, where ur cams are, and when they are out. I haven't ever had one of mine taken in the 4-5 years ive been runnin em. I think is cuz im carefull and think when & where they will likely be stole from. If put cameras out 100 yds from a road and some 1.5hr one way hike into the wilderness area. My buddies cam was stolen off the 1.5hr hike spot. Its a roll of the dice

Depends on what you are looking for and how you go about it. I try to run cams year round minus huge weekends and heavy snow winters. helps me tell when the drop is and other things. If not that i try to start a tad before antler drop. I like to see the progression and timeline of growth. I have a theory less people are in the woods when its 100+. Fewer people likely to steal my cam. If im lazy the first time ill put them out is right after memorial day

Well I put the duratracs on about 2.5k ago. 285/75/16. They are doing well so far. Quieter than any MT ive heard and way more agressive than any AT ive seen. They get my vote so far. If I get anything over 30k ill be satisfied if I get 40k+ ill be really pleased.

+1 If i wanted a less expensive drop compensating reticle id go vortex for the $. I use an older TDS swaro and want a BR reticle, but dont wanno go 3mo with out it or spend the 180$. The drop compensating reticles work great if you are hunting in about the same elevations till 600-700 IF (big if) you practice alot and know what your rig will do. The 1" swaro doug is sellin is the best 1" tube ive looked through, lots better than most 30mms. Thats what i payed 1200 for some years back before the better BR reticle. Zeiss also offers some great glass for the money but i cant comment too much for them cuz ive spent very little time behind one

Its like heat treating for metal but its cold treating. My simple answer is I woiuld never pay for it unless i had a hotrod varmint rifle i knew i was gonna eventually use 2-3 barrels on. Id never do it on a heavy large caliber rifle, but on the other hand if your spending 3500 for a custom build whats a little but more $ gonna hurt ya. I dont believe ther is a down side to cryo besides $$. theres tons of reading info of guys offerin their opinion if you look around.

accuracy speaks is at rio salado range. they are real good fairly reasonable, but slow at times. Kodiak precision is excelent and faster but may be a skosh more (just a WAG), youd have to call to find out. both do great work in NE mesa

There are diehard break in guys and guys who swear that the barrel is the best on the 1st shot and goes downhill from there. I broke mine in one day with about 15-20 rds sighting in my scope. I just wanted to make sure there wasnt a ton of copper fouling goin on and maybe "polishing the barrel". I gave it plenty of time to cool down between shots, never more that sets of 2 or 3. I ddnt do the 1 shot, swab, 2 shots, swab twice deal or anything like that. Im not sure if any effect at all it had but the rifle shoots well today. Either way you do it your rifle is gonna shoot well.

All the giant groups I've seen have always been during turkey season or very close. Its a pretty cool deal to see that many at once. Good luck gettuing some pics!

Ive got the cabelas combo, They are varieties of 9317 and the pineridge 17 turret. Its not as accurate as some turrets Ive used but its pretty dang close. You can get a thubmbhole or hollow rear laminate with a bull barrel and the scope on sale @ cabelas for 400$ They go onsale every once in a while. The 17 I have is the most accurate gun I own out too 100 or so. At 50yds i could shoot flys off the target i think. The hardest part of shooting one is the windage. But that gets to be pretty fun on real windy day trying to dope the wind right. Savage is definately the way to go. I researched alot and they were the best bang for the buck. I have a gray thumbhole laminate w/ a black heavy barrel. I was never a big fan of stainless but Cabelas had this one without stainless. Good luck!

This is the the bill that will make concealed carry legal without class or instruction as I understand it. If any one has any more insight on the matter please fill us in. I am a CCW permit holder and I am against it. This is one thing that seperates law abiding citizens and criminals. It is a good reason to make arrests. I also feel the instruction and proficiency test we have now is to lax. I would be all for more places to cary with more instruction. I would love to be able to cary at school. I would also be willing to go through a very strict class and a very difficult proficiency test to show ability and responsibility to do so. If some one wants to have a pistol on their person hiding out of sigt, I think they need to know how to use it and how to operate it well enough to limit injuries to people around them if they do need to use it.

I understand your side as well. Im all for people being able to defend their own life. I dont want more ignorant people toting around guns, but i guess im hopin for somethin that will never happen. It would be nice if more people were responsible enough to know how to use their defence weapon well. I think the majority, if not all the people on here, who carry do know how to use their pistols. I dont like people telling me what to do either. People do do stupid things like you mentioned. My dad always said you cant fix stupid. He was right.

Let us know please. I have always wanted a Mt lion claw for a keychain or somethin. Im waiting to find a micro shed for a key chain too.

I had 13 points when I drew my early archery hunt. I had only put in for early archery hunts in those years. From my experience the average should be around 7-8 years for an early archery tag. I only know 3 people who have drawn early rifle hunts. None of them have drawn it more than once. Another 5 years or so and I'll be lookin for that elk tag to come around. After 10 and 11 points it gets old fast. I will also have 14 pts going into next years antelope draw.

havent you guys figured it out yet? anticipation is the best part.

Id go bigger if I had a gun bigger, if not I'd use the quarter bore. Get closer, make a good shot, and you will be fine.
