That prescribed burn was on Pig mountain on the Elkhorn.... Mary has been trying to burn there for over 5 years. Drove by all the guys tending it and could see smoke from the house....

heck, my backpack rifles have scopes from 19-22 ounces too.... Like the bullet being steered properly...grin

If it's a back back rifle, I'd sell it all and buy a 21" Fieldcraft in 6.5 Creed.... But I'll play along...grin... I'd run a Creed or 6.5 Lapua for a 2.95" with RL-26 and the 147 EldM....

Is that the time after the second or third attempt to get the initial order correct? Grin...

Mid January to early/mid February is the hot time here in southern AZ IME.... Some of the biggest bucks I've seen with solo does rutting hard have been in the first week of February...

Hey fellers - I have two Leupold scopes for sale. 1) Leupold VX-2 3-9x40 CDS. Matte finish, standard duplex. New, never mounted. $200 2) Leupold VX-II 4-12x50. Silver finish. Duplex reticle. Used but in very, very good condition. Elevation dial is custom with a muzzleloader dial for a 250 grain Barnes TEZ at 1990 fps. Leopold can make another dial or can be used as is for a set and forget scope. Windage is friction $175 No boxes for either as they were lost in a recent move. Both for $350. Prefer face to face in Tucson area but can ship on buyers dime.

Run the numbers for a .620 to .697 BC at 2950 compared to your .505 to 700 yards, then run it at 2650 to 700 yards...

What speeds are you running your .505 BC?

If I had to pick one it'd be the .280 Ackley.

That'd apply to all units south of IH 10...
