It is with regret I list this rifle but it does simply not get the use it deserves. I have a lightly used Tikka T3 Superlite in 7-08. Stock is a McMillan Sako Hunter Edge in grey with black speckles. Stock is unbedded. Rifle weighs a bit under 6 pounds bare. I can find no major blemishes. Maybe a few hardly visible rubs. Rifle looks almost new. The only thing to mention of note is the magazines do not release as crisp as other Tikka rifles I've had. They latch great but I have to unlatch and then grab them out. Never bothered me. With the 10x SWFA and DNZ mounts shown in photos it weighs about 21 ounces more. The rifle has a LA bolt stop and an extended magazine that allows plenty of room for heavies when kissing. It will come with the standard magazine and extended magazine. Looking at my load book, this rifle has about 130 bullets down the barrel mostly with 140 Bergers at 2.8" which absolutely hammers. I experimented a bit with 150-162 grain bullets (1 range trip) but never fully developed a load. I've never shot this rifle for groups closer than 550 yards so I have no idea what it does closer. But it will put 5 140 Bergers into groups smaller than my hand at 550 yards with RL-17. All load data included with sale. And interested buyers will have the options of some loading components. I will include all loaded cartridges I have to the buyer if FTF (30-40 I believe of the 140 Berger load). Rifle with Edge stock - $1,100 FTF in Tucson area Rifle with Edge stock, 10x SWFA, and DNZ mounts - $1,350 FTF in Tucson area

Laughing.... You really think people not shooting big magnums are sensitive sissies? Ever think there might be other reasons? -
Model #? Is it the ultralight?
-
This.... Exactly...
-
What cartridge are you guys seeing that case head Nosler stuff on?
-
Yes, should've included those.... Alpha is good but expand the lineup! Nosler IME is pretty good stuff, on average all things considered. Better than their bullets for sure. At least the BC of the brass can't be overinflated consistently ...
-
Yeah Lance - if Lapua or Nosler doesn't make headstamped brass, I'm not interested in the cartridge these days....
-
The 43.5 load will be up there too in pressure. The 2850 should have been a clue as well. The Creed is great but it's not a 6.5x284....
-
More description of both "etc" in your description? Ammo? What is exactly for sale here? Thanks...
-
No kidding...
-
I'd say 4-5" now....

Rough morning here.....

I've got 3" at my house SW of Tucson near Three Pts in Diamond Bell and still coming down...

Indeed. I just watched the video in this thread for the first time as I didn't know it was there. Pretty clear....
-
Pretty cool....thanks for that.

Gotta be... Think I see a forked tine...grin...
-
Pretty cool. Wonder what was the deciding factor in that video that convinced him?

Before I posted I read his paper on hybrids actually for a refresher. Where the the glands located and what "biologists" looked at them? I'm not saying this deer is not a hybrid as I haven't seen it but the hybrid BS is sooooo overused erroneously. heck I've got acquaintences who glass up 10 hybrids a year....grin...

I know no details of either party involved in this drama. Does everyone know that hybrids are literally almost not found in the wild let alone get to the age this buck needed to be at to score 150"? In captivity, hybrids can barely be created and are all dinks. It happens in the wild, very rarely but the average dude that doesn't get out much calls any mule deer that doesn't fork a hybrid and any whitetail that does a hybrid. It's embarrassing.... Generally, hybrids are a way of explaining the things the average Joe doesn't get to see or experience or are very rare because they don't get out enough, in my experiences.
