3 sweet potatoes cubed in 1/4"ish squares. 1 onion diced..3 garlic cloves. Sautee for 10-15 minutes until both are soft and cooked through stirring. Other cast iron, 2 slices of diced bacon and grease precooked. Add 1 siced jalapeño, 1/2 red bell of other sweet pepper, few green onions diced, more garlic, salt pepper..sautee until soft. Add this to main pan of onions and sweet potatoes and turn up hest and get some texture, maybe 5 minutes.... I have to make sweet potatoes savory for me to enjoy them. This fits the bill perfectly... .

I am a hunting dude. I read all you guys exploits off San Diego and other areas chartering boats for offshore stuff. Bro is from Texas, we love to fish. I want to gift him an experience. This is a naive post, I get it. Any guidance on booking an "experience" off shore fishing on the west coast? We camped on the Black River for a week 2 years ago trout fishing. Still chat about it. Yeah. I didn't go to Mexico this year and my observations were for north of the border only. Rainfall is only one aspect of it in Mexico. We feel we have predator problems up here? Mexico is a different animal...

From what I've seen, coues deer are absolutely thriving and spreading into even more mule deer country. Activity was low this summer and some into the fall as I think they were in conservation mode due to poor monsoons which I've seen before and greatly limiting activity. I have not seen any buck or age class reductions from average.
