Last time I went I took my nephew we parked on the edge of a big flat and walked out to the edge of this prairie dog town sitting under a lone pine in the shade and we had killed a few and he was lining up a shot on another one and I was trying to record it on my phone attached to my binos and you can hear me in the video “hang on put the safety on and open your bolt what’s this idiot doing?” As a side by side comes into frame on the opposite side of the one we’re about to shoot at. (Nowhere near a road we had to walk about 3/4 mile to get to where we were) and then I see the gun come out the driver side window (video still running) I stand up yelling waving my arms and the bullet whizzes by I yell at my nephew to get behind the f***ing tree as he fires a few more. I went and confronted him mainly to get his license plate, g&f caught up to him later that day said his camp was trashed, trash blowing all over the woods they asked me if I wanted them to write tickets because he’s gonna know your the one that called I said write every one you can I don’t care. G&F officer told me “yeah he said he saw you guys but didn’t think you were in harms way” haven’t gave a crap about shooting one since. Video was on my old phone then I switched to apple or id try to post it somehow, don’t even know where that phone is nowadays

Pellet grills are nice cuz you can throw a bunch of meat on fill the hopper and go to bed, I had bad luck with them went through 4 in about 5 years finally said screw it and bought an offset they had on sale at Home Depot, I’ll never go back to pellets. Usually what I do is I’ll cook on Friday nights, start the fire as soon as I get home from work get the meat on once I have a coalbed going and then I’ll stay up as long as I can adding pieces of oak every 20-30 mins and when I can’t stay up any longer I’ll wrap in butcher paper (meats usually just starting the stall) and then put in the oven set at like 205 or 210. Then when I get up Saturday morning the meats usually around 180-190 then I’ll bump the oven up to 225 to finish it usually around noon. Let it rest wrapped in a towel til about 6 then dig in. Mine seems to cook a little faster the more meat you put in it so I’ll usually send a group text to the neighbors tell them I’m cooking Friday night who wants a pork butt and I’ll usually end up cooking 6-10 every time then they come get it when done. Couple neighbors moved an hour away but told me they still want the bbq hookup and they drive an hour one way every time I cook haha

Do it…when mine was a pup he got his teeth kicked out by my horse and broke his jaw that wasn’t cheap but after awhile he got to where he could eat dry food. Hasn’t been on the wet food since. 11 years old now still runs circles around me shed hunting. Best dog I could ask for with my 2 year old also. My kid can jump on him pull his ears “tickle” him and the dog just playfully nips at him. Dog sleeps next to my kids bed now every night. We’ll be sitting on the front porch watching my boy play if a car drives by and he’ll start growling and walk to the sidewalk til he can’t see it. (Not that he has teeth to really make it hurt if he bit someone) But like others said they are somewhat high energy, mines pretty dang lazy now we don’t hike near the miles we used to in the woods but pretty dang good dog around the house.

Had the boat for two years no issues only thing I’ve done is the throttle cable was a little sticky had both the throttle and shifter cables replaced by Blake in flagstaff. works perfect now just had it on Alamo last weekend. 90 horse outboard. 55# thrust trolling motor. 3 bank charger works as it should. Trailer tires and the spare replaced last spring. Original owner put a small scratch in one side on a dock or something just cosmetic will add picture. Carpet isn’t perfect but could definitely be worse. Only selling because I just bought a bigger bass boat to have more room for the kids. Any questions reach out. $7,000 or best offer don’t need two boats in my driveway. Located in Williams. We have a place at Roosevelt can tow it down to tonto one weekend for serious buyers and we’ll take it out on the lake. IMG_0725.mov

I have the one first posted, it works for medium sized blades, smaller knives you can’t get the edge of the blade out far enough from the clamp it’ll start grinding down the clamp itself and not even touch the blade. Some of my bigger knives the clamp doesn’t get a good enough bite it’ll turn the blade as your trying to sharpen. For medium sized blades it seems to work fairly well isn’t great for 6”+ blades or the smaller ones that don’t have much backbone to clamp onto

Roger thank you, good luck I’d imagine it should sell quick

Recently inherited a 30 Remington pump action that was one of my grandfathers rifles it came with few loaded rounds for it and a couple pieces of brass he saved but not much. Everything online is out of stock that I can find. If you have anything you’d part with let me know. I’m in Williams but have family in payson or verde valley I could arrange to meet with also.

I’ve also heard of people removing the rim, I believe there’s another caliber you can trim down also and run it through the sizing due to make it also but can’t find where I read it now. -

Gila County Wolf Reintroduction
couesbuck22 replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in The Campfire
I don’t have any social media apps anymore but if I remember correctly when cameras were legal clay goldman had posted some pictures of wolves he had on his instagram -
We didn’t have a forest service LEO for awhile up here. Recently got one back full time so far so good multiple people have turned in piles of trash that were dumped in the woods and he was able to trace it back and cite the people doing it cuz they literally dumped their mail with it. He moved in right around the corner from me seems to be making an impact already.

Seen a group of horses around unit 8 for years and years, Seen the sheep herders with them a handful of times. One group of horses in 8 doesn’t mean much to me when you can literally see 100+ donkeys on a afternoon ride in 10 and call it normal

Some people on my route at work (in Williams) live in a camper and put these things underneath it every winter..don’t know how they work or anything but they just set theirs up last week. Seems pricy
