My son has shocked me recently and has decided he would like to start hunting and to start off with a turkey hunt. I wanted to see who uses red dot scopes for turkey hunting? He really does well with aiming that way and was hoping for your recommendations or suggestions on if it’s a good method and if so do I need to break bank on one or not. Thanks always.

Purchased an Anderson AM-15/AR rifle recently for a fun target/coyote gun. Put magpul front and rear sights on it. Rifle shot extremely high and seemed impossible to adjust correctly. I did some research and it says that sight is not supposed to be installed on gas block rail and that is why. Gun looks like picture below. Is this information correct? Thanks, Justin

Been scouting this unit for the past two months. Seen only one bull while out hiking and cameras have picked up quite a bit of activity. Are the elk usually way up high in the aspens because of the lack of water and warm weather? Will the kachina wilderness hunts affect locations? Looking for some help due to my lack of elk hunting experience. We are the rifle cow hunt starting the 18th. Thanks, Justin
