    Happy Fathers Day

Well went to work and cut about 20 cases of T-Bone steaks($3.49 A Pound) so the dad's with real jobs and weekends off could have a juicy steak for dinner. But I did get dinner made for me by the wife and two kids when I got home. Other then the burnt steaks that they forgot about on the grill(I do the grilling most of the time ) the meal was wonderful. Not often enough do we get a chance to eat together anymore. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there in coues land!

Dick, Just wanted to say Thanks to you and all that helped again for a great shoot. It was a lot more fun the first day. It's hard to believe it was 110 deg. only a few days before. Thanks for everything Dallas

    Dixon broadhead tuner

I use the G5 tool also. I didn't have to much problem with my heads setting flush with inserts but I started shooting Axis 400's this year and not having the insert and the head going flush to the shaft I found the G5 tool was almost a must have to get the shaft square and get the wobble out of my broadheads. Butters if you have a few arrow that don't group with the rest sometimes you can rotate your nock. So say you are shooting odd vane up turn you nock so one of the other vanes is up. We have found that sometimes this will bring an arrow back into the group. Don't ask me how or why but sometimes it will work. I think it has something to do with how some arrows are made and how they flex as they leave the bow. Also I have noticed a lot of guys (especially shooting broadheads) have a bad habit of trying to watch were the arrow is going causing a bad shot. And I think making a bad shot is magnified with a broadhead on the end. If nothing else works shoot a Rage!!LOL!! I shoot G5 Montecs myself but Rage heads fly awesome and do there job when they get there.

    Dixon broadhead tuner

Never used a Dixon but have tuned my heads this way in the past. A lot of guys do not spend the time to spin there arrows with broadheads and I think they would be amazed at how tuning your heads will help arrow flight.

    Rifle?

Rem 721 in 270. This was my first rifle and still #1 when I head out to hunt. I have bought others but this is the one I trust the most. It's a shooter. I've killed mule deer and coues with it.

    New Magazine

Not sure if this was directed to me but if it was I would like to say I have lived and hunted in AZ all my life and I bust my butt as much anyone else to find places to hunt. Thanks for all the great info about this new magazine since that is what my original post was for. And Lionslayer welcome to the best site on the net you can get some great info on here just don't ask about new magazines about hunting in AZ. Or read on the crapper. Officially un-subscribed to this thread. See you all some place else!

    New Magazine

Hey it's better then looking at the wall or playing with something that don't need to be played with. Anyways not to interested in what they have to say about units I hunt in I enjoy doing that part myself. I'm just interested in the articles about guys like me that hunt the same type of country I hunt. Not in some tree stand back east some place like most articles in most magazines are about. You do make a great point about the showcasing of units it's not really needed I agree. I would assume it is for the couch potato(or the crapper) who wants someone to tell them were to drive out and shoot a buck but I doubt they will get that from any magazine.

    What release?

Here is my favorite! They are not for everybody but I think there great. Some day younghunter will be big enough to shoot one. And yes I hunt with it also. But for a non-backtention release it's hard to beat a Mongoose or Little Goose.

    STICKER?

Its all about DEL TACO!!! I ahve only seen a few stickers and surprisingly they were all during the same weekend. One was a green Dodge flatbed and it had the sticker on the metal bar, I saw this rig during the first late season bull hunt in 22 north. The other was on the ride home and was on a red Jeep Cherokee driving southbound outside of Rye. Hey you forgot ME!!! And I'm the most important!! My mom said the stickers are popping up in Payson all over th place. And before gas was so high I would drive to Globe just to eat!!!! Best in AZ!!! In the valley Filiberto's gets my vote.

    Texas Hog Hunt

Well just got back from Texas. What a blast!! We had a great hunt. We ended up with 8 or 9 hogs 5 turkeys 1 Corsican Ram and 1 Texas Dall. All the hogs that were shot ranged from 80 to 120# not huge but great meat hogs. Some bigger hogs were seen but no one could connect with one. I will get the pictures of the Dall,Corsican and others posted as soon as I get permission to do so. The ranch was great!! Billy Don his son and his sons best friend were great to be around. I would recommend this ranch to anyone. Tons of animals and a ton of fun.
