BowNut replied to June's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
You should be able to shoot them in Hunter Class there is no vane restriction any more. -
Nothing like fishing those ponds in Tx. Thats were I first started to fish. What a blast and some great memories. I do not remember much about my Grandpa Daily but I do remember him sitting in his chair next to a Texas Cattle pond catch'in a mess of bluegill for dinner that night! And all the 4 letter words he had to say about the Fire Ants! Thanks for the pics they brought back some Great Memories.

Doug at Cameraland has the Minox 15x58's for $550. I ordered mine just waiting to get them. He has not received them yet. I used a a friends this year and they are well worth the 500 bucks. They are a little on the heavy side but a good pair of bino straps like Nimrod and others make and they are not bad.

Axis all the way. If you do not want to pay full price as others had said Ebay or Archery Talk. They are tuff as nails and penetrate like crazy. And they fly great to!

I Like that She said there were 3 bucks and 1 doe. They set off her motion detector they had set up to let them know when someone was there and these guys showed up. Here is a couple more.

Going to the 2nd leg and looking for the best place to stay around Texas Canyon. I have only been in that area once or twice and I did not pay to much attention to what was around there. Is there any hotels close by or do I need to stay in Tucson and drive the shoot. Just need a clean bed to get my beauty sleep and not to high dollar. Thanks

Hey what about Dallas?

Glad you posted this I was just thinking about getting a HAM license the other day.My dad is a HAM.(KC7NOJ) I don't think he has been on for a while. Since he moved to Strawberry he has not been as involved as much. I know he takes his handheld on hunt with him mostly just in case he has any trouble out in the field. You never know.

Taco Time LOL!!! He only shot on Saturday because he goes to church on Sunday not sure how he did Sat. but he usually shoots well. Yes, you can can start on the 2nd leg you just will need to shoot the last 3 for the triple crown. Hope you can make it.

Headache Could you be a little more specific on the problems with the high dollar Hoyts? IMO And its just that my opinion but I have not seen problems with Hoyt that could ever stack up to the pile of limbs that have been replaced on Bowtech and the PSE's of the past. And before I get blasted for the limb thing I know there are a ton of guys that have not had a problem with there bows I'm just saying if you look at the other sites like AT and others there just seems to be more of a problem with some companies more than others. Compared to the number of bows sold the number of bows with problems is small but anything can happen with any bow no mater who makes it. Coocoo, Hit the shops shoot them all and find what you like. There is not a bow company out there that makes a bad bow. But there are bow companies that make bows that you will not like. For what ever reason that's just the way it is. When you find the right one only you will know. Well we will know to because you will tell us. I have shot them all and they are all great bows but there is just somethings you will not like grip, shock speed or what ever it may be. P.S. Maybe you should ask the question what would be your 2nd choice if you could not shoot the bow you shoot. Mine would be Bowtech or Mathews
-
Man I thought you were going to do better then that "but you need to keep the cams timed"! You did not even mention my name in your post! Your slacking bro! A lot of people don't realize that Mathews, Bowtech and I'm sure PSE also need there cams adjusted or timed. Even the single cam bows have timing marks for a set position were they perform the best.

Wow you know how to get things started here! I shoot for Hoyt so I'm staying out a that.
