Nothing but a sunburn at the old water today.Did see a few deer on the way in 2 small 2 or 3 point whitetail and 1 mullie spike with about 5 ladies with him. I think maybe they started going to water at night with the full moon and all.

Hey Lark Not 100% but from guys I have talked to it sounds like to me if the Doc said you cant draw a bow any longer that the wardens will let you use a crossbow. Not sure if there is paper work or something your Doc would need to fill out you would need to contact them for that. Sooner or later you will need to go to G&F I will see if I can get some more info for you. Unless someone else gets you more info I will ask around the bow shop.

I found this in of my hunting mags. I have never been able to shoot with both eyes open and have tried blinders on the brim of my hat and tape on my sun glasses. But I ordered one of these Double Vision Blockers and I like it a lot.I thought maybe there would be someone else out there that would be interested in this. They work great on rifle scopes and archery sights and I would think spotting scopes also. You can get them at topbowarchery.com and there are also more reviews on Archery Talk

They are $13 plus $2.50 for shipping. They attach with velcro and rubber O rings that come with it. It goes on easy and seems to be very sturdy. I have not tried it on my gun yet but it works great on my scope on the bow.

Well it happened last night at our night league. I got a phone call from one of our shooter about a half hour after we quit shooting. Luck a bunch of us stand around for an hour or so just talking. He asked if his bow was still hanging up and it was. He had made it all the way home before he realized it was not there. He was very happy he left it hanging there because his first fear was that he left it on the back of his truck!

It happens a lot. I have seen a lot of guy get to there trucks at Usery and figure out there bow was still on the range. My dad got all the way to my house one day and pulled out his empty bow case his bow was at the pay station when we got back to the range.

+2 Got some from Doug at Camera Land a while back. Money well spent! -
LOL! That looks legal to me! Were can I get one?

I have not had any problem in 34 in the past. Make the first couple shots count. If you need the extra mag that could be taken as excessive force not that you can not hit the broad side of a barn with a hand gun like me!!!

About 6 miles north of US 60 on Elsworth Rd. At Usery Mountain Park.

Usery Mountain Archers will be having a small 3d shoot tomorrow. We will have 20 targets set up so come on out and practice your yardage for your up coming hunts or bring your range finder. The price is $10 and you can shoot them twice. Come out early before it gets to hot we will start pulling targets around Noon
