There is no jumping ship. It's just the right thing to do

www.mcmillanusa.com It would help to know exactly what you have but its tuff to beat McMillan. Never had one but if you are into wood working at all you may want to try Richards Microfit Gunstocks. Some nice inexpensive stocks you just need to finish them.

Nice. I wish the clouds would break here in the Valley I want to go to the range!

New CouesWhitetail.com Tshirts - like 'em?

+1... Amanda, I think you hit it out of the park on the current version. My suggestion is keep the current design and change the bucks on the back as time goes on.>>> Manny ++1 My thoughts as well +++1 Same here. Smaller on front is better. IMO How about Team Coues pocket sized in the front? Amanda don't forget the big sizes for azcoues33. By the time this gets worked out he should fit in a XL LOL -
Dude We Need To Talk!!

Usery Mountain Archers has the pre-registration ready for the 1st Leg Of the Triple Crown. You can go online or by mail. I will try to attach a flyer if I can get it to work. There a few changes I would like to let everyone know about. The ABA rule book is no longer being used for the Triple Crown. They will be going by IBO RULES and use the IBO RULE BOOK. The big change in these rules is the 5gr of arrow weight per pound. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH ARCHER TO KNOW THE RULES. You can find them on the IBO website. Some classes have been changed or cut. There is no longer any money classes and there is a list of all the classes on the flyer and at the online registration site. The flyer has most of the info needed but if you have any questions you can post them here or PM me. Or visit the ABA website at arizonabowhunters.org Thanks for your support again this year Dallas 2010_Cactus_Classic_Flyer_1_.doc

Just wanted to send out a huge Thank You!! to everyone that came out. I wish I had more time to hang out and talk to everyone. We had our biggest turn out EVER 284 shooters. And I think 40+ kids between youth, cubs and peewee. Today was really a challenge with the rain and cold temps but it looked like most of the shooters still enjoyed themselves. Also wanted to Thank the Arizona Christian Archers, The Lost Arrow Archers and all the volunteers at Usery Park for there help in running the shoot. There is no way we could do it with out them. Thank you everyone, Dallas

BassPro sticker and Mini CW.com Party!
BowNut replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Sticker Sightings!
Great meeting and talking to everyone. Christy needs a girlfriend or a hunting season he spends way to much time at work! Even on his days off. -
I got an email from Stoney he is going to try and be at the warm up shoot with the scales on Sunday but may need to go out of town. I know some guys will push the 5gr. but I think it would be better to shoot a little less pounds or a little heavier arrow to be safe. I would hate to waist all that time over a few grains or a pound or two. Thanks everyone we will see you all there.

The old ABA rule book I have from last year says Money Class not Pro Class. ABA has NOTHING to do with the warm up! I scheduled that. There are other things that go on that make it were we can not schedule a shoot when it is best for everyone else or for even US! You think my wife wants me to be gone all day on Valentine's Day running a shoot that she could care less about? Ben Avery has there shoot on Valentine's weekend also. Seems everyone has a beef with the ABA and the way things are being run but does anyone go to the ABA meetings? Far as I know there is no one on this site that is with the ABA or on the ABA board so these post are useless. Any more complaints please contact the ABA Thank You Dallas Usery Mountain Archers Sorry had to vent about done here.

Hey GameHauler Check this out! Here is an up grade for your Amber!!
-
Thats a great idea let me get with Stoney and I will let you know.
-
It is what it is. We have zero control over that and I don't like it anymore then everyone else. But with all the parks in this state on the chopping block its better then not having a range to shoot at. Thats the way I try to look at it.
-
The 2 dollars should only be for the shooters.
-
Warm-up prices $15 for adults Youth $10 And there will be 40 targets
-
Don't forget we have the Warm-up shoot this Sunday at Usery.

Guess the Score Contest - Jan 2010
BowNut replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Contests and Giveaways!
+1 lets get it done. -
As far as I know we had only one issue and it was resolved the best it could for that day as soon as it was noticed. And resolved totally to start the second day. First and foremost we do everything we can to make every shot a safe one. But sometimes issues arise when you get the 250 shooters out on the courses. Thanks for the input we will do our best. We will be setting targets Friday AM before the shoot feel free to come up lend a hand.

As far as I know our club has had no feedback "YET" from anyone about the combining of the classes. I'm just doing my best to be the messenger here guys. As I said in another post everyone who has questions or concerns needs to contact the ABA or go to there meeting to voice your opinions. The clubs hosting the shoot are doing just that hosting the shoot. Rules are set by the ABA we just go by there rules. Also remember this is NOT an IBO sanctioned event. I hope some day we have the shooters it would take to use all the IBO classes that would be great but we just do not have the numbers in most of the classes. And Scott you think I want to shoot against you and Drew and the other guys???? I have enough trouble with your kid. From what I got from Stoney at our meeting they want to do everything they can to make the Triple Crown better then ever so contact them tell them what you think, give them your opinion. They do not know about it if you do not tell them. Stoney Amerine amerines7@aol.com Thanks Guys Dallas

Well Scott I guess we/Usery had some cards done up for next year with 11's on them just in case we did run out cards for a couple classes this year. We did them with 11's and figured we would just change a few 11's to 12's if needed. I was told they found out we had them printed and the rest of the clubs were good with the change this year now so they ran with it. So if there are any clubs out there that need a couple cases of score cards with 12's we have a couple.

Rule Change We WILL score 11's this year!
