Narrowed it down to Tightspot or Octane quiver. Rest either a drop away such as QAD, not ripcord or whisker biscuit. Sight is the most cumbersome because one can not try the different features. I'd like to have an adjustment over 70 yards if needed and also need bright and large enough pins as my eyesight isn't what it was.

Could some one explain Retina lock technology? Saw an IQ sight that didn't require a peep? I'm thinking like outfitting a rifle that one puts the best scope he can afford. Just had no idea the bow sights were so pricy and not sure which technology has been proven in the field? Looking at Octane and G5 quivers? Arrow rest have been looking at the QAD drop away? Shooting a whisker biscuit does one have to use a certain type of fletching?

whats the best unit to get a big desert ram in?
turkeyneck replied to jeremiah lindsey's topic in Bighorn Sheep Hunting
24 points and counting! Put in for one desert and Rocky each year. I have rotated the hunt unit choices every year. I have had the pleasure to be on two different sheep hunts in SW Arizona. I assume yours' is the Nelsoni? Do you know what part of unit 9 inhabit the sheep? -
Saw a group of Gould toms yesterday. Four or five jakes and a couple of more mature birds. The most mature was making the other toms keep their distance. The largest of the group responded to calls by gobbling after most every call. Should be a great week for calling!

What accessories come with it? Why are you selling it? Any tears or patches? How old is it? How many days a year is it set up in the weather?

Are there eye cups for Swav. 15X56 that will work in conjunction with the issue lens caps? -
My hunting partner drew the MZ hunt in # 27! Any one want holding a #27 archery tag interested in having a conversation after their hunt? Have hunted the unit twice over the last 30 years, but prior to fire. We'll start scouting in July. Good luck to all the lucky tag holders.

Had one of my trail cameras stolen in unit 1, probably over Labor Day weekend. Whomever stole it had to first trip the camera and then walk out to get a tool to cut the cable lock. My guess it was stolen by someone who knew the quality of the bulls in the area. Another disappointment in people!
