Not trying to pour salt in the wound but our camp went 3 for 3 cows on that muzzle loader hunt in 8, first one Friday morning, and then 2 more Saturday afternoon, saw elk every time we went for a walk. I love that hunt

I second the Remington 700 sendero! I love mine!

I bought a Remington 700 sendero in 300 win mag, had the trigger changed to Timiney set at 2.5lbs, muzzle beak added, and tactical bolt knob added, my question is should I lap the scope rings before mounting the scope or not? Going to use talley one piece bases and rings. I have been told both and not sure how much of a difference this will make, and would you just buy the kit to do it or have someone do it for you? Who? Thx in advance for all replies!😎

Oz31 I did not look at those, I will give it a look but have already bought the talleys, trphyhunter not sure if it is really necessary I had a different 300 win with talley rings and they were not lapped, that gun shot good but I never stretched it out very far ( past 300 yards) so putting this one together I did not want to skip a step that may be necessary for longer ranges.

Thx forepaw, I have watched the gunwerks video, that was the direction I was headed just wan't sure how much this would effect the accuracy of the rifle.

Anybody know of or work at a good auto body AND repair shop? My friend got in a fender bender in her Volvo and needs to get her hood,bumper, grill, possibly radiator replaced and repainted? She has insurance. Do any of the shops wave deductible? Thx for any and all advise!

My brother got a ticket for riding double on a quad, the ranger said it was illegal unless the quad was made to ride double from the factory, not sure if it's the same with the side by sides

I think it was a general antlerless hunt going on at the time, not a youth hunt, probably elk fever, someone shot without first clarifying bull/cow. I would like to know how big the bull was, in my opinion it might show level or iresponsability, not that any level is a acceptable!
