Thank you Cliff! It was great seeing you and all the other vets at the banquet. What an honor to be able to spend the evening with you all. And I am happy to say that we were able to raise enough money to make sure that no vet who told me they wanted to attend was turned away. We ended up with 18 tickets dedicated to the vets and several CW.com members donated money to the cause to make it happen. Thank you to everyone who donated and attended the banquet!

Hello everyone, You may have seen that I sent out an email to tell veterans and active military that I had some free tickets to the SCI banquet to give away. Initially I had two tickets, but those went fast and so I bought another table of 10 to give away. And now I still have some more vets that would like to attend. If anyone would like to donate to send a vet to the banquet for free, then let me know and I will just buy more tickets. I have a hard time saying no to these men/women who have sacrificed so much for our country. So I would like to be able to take them all. Right now I am making a waiting list for those beyond the first twelve that contacted me and for which I have tickets. Tickets are $70 each, so if you would like to help, let me know. Thank you! Nice job getting all those animals! I have wanted to find a badger hole to set a camera up on. Nice work! Most any trail camera that uses infrared light for night pics will be blurry if the animal is moving. If they were standing still it wouldn't be blurry. To get crisp night pics, you have to get a white flash camera and most people don't want to do that.

since this topic seems to be drawing out the worst from people, I am closing it. I will ask, yet again, for everyone in this forum to please refrain from bashing each other.

Congratulations on the bird! Too bad it landed in the water, but I am sure the taxidermist can fluff him back up and make the mount look great. Looks like a heck of a roost you found based on all those droppings!

Saw you driving up the mtn while I was coming down. Didn't see the sticker until after you passed. Hope you enjoy your weekend up on the mtn....it snowed on us!

I remember the first time I heard gobblers in the Catalinas after they were released there. I was doing some predawn owl surveys and heard gobbling in the dark. It was music to my ears after years of working in the Catalinas before the turkeys were there! Gorgeous birds!
